    1. George Chuvalo - Cant say I saw him fight live but his chin is legendary, never been knocked down and faced some of the heaviest punchers ever.
    2. Olivier McCall - Well his chin was so good that he could eat best shots Lennox had to offer without even defending himself, 14 losses and never been knocked out
    3. GGG - He has never been hurt or down amateurs and pros, took some huge shots, never been forced to really defend. It's hard denying him the spot as he has faced some huge punchers, Stevens, Lemieux, Caneli, Jacobs... took their best shots easily
    4. George Foreman - Something else... his fight vs Holyfield, he took about 80 punches that would knock any man out and hept going... he was also old and his chin was already cracked most likely, only knocked down 3 or 4 times and lost to KO to Ali but that should have no bearing on his incredible chin
    5. Vitali Klitschko - Uppercut from Lennox Lewis, enough said.

I think Mayorga deserves an honourable mention, even if he's not top five material.

Roberto got iced and went down face first. I'm an enormous fan
and he has a hell of a chin overall in his career but top 5.......no.
    Top 20 maybe.

My top 5 in no particular order

Sugar Ray Robinson (one stoppage from exhaustion in 200 fights)
Ali (one stoppage at the end of his career)
    Hagler (self explanatory)
Pernell Whitaker (One stoppage in his last fight due to a dislocated shoulder)
George Chuvalo (Stopped only by Big George and Ali, and never off his feet)

    Honorable mention: James Toney
from MW to HW, he ate shots and was only off
his feet 3 times. Never close to stopped even as
    a HW corpse.

    Honorable mention 2: Dominick Guinn
Kind of this eras Chuvalo, fought a who's who at
HW and never off his feet, or stopped.

All of these guys fought and ate shots against monsters.
No one can question their chins, they're pretty much
    all beyond reproach.

GGG#3 ?? LOL....Thats a list a casual newbie would post , not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Educate yourself on
    Ali
    Rocky Marciano
    LaMotta
    Camancho
    Hoya
    Hopkins
    Eric Moralles
    Many Paquiao
    Carlos Monzon
    James Toney
    Mike MaCallum
    Chris Eubank Sr
    Joe Calzaghe
    Tex Cobb
    Ray Robinson
    Roberto Duran
    Margrito
    Shane Mosely
    Ray Mercer
    Larry Holmes
    Chavez Sr
    Glencoff Johnson
    Carl Froch
    Gman
    Holyfield
    Hamed

GGG well outside that list as he never took flush bangers off power punchers in his career.

Well I suggest you watch his fights vs Lemieux and Stevens, they are not the best boxers but some of the hardest punchers p4p and GGG absorbed some clean bombs from them. I only had 5 spots on the list and am educated on all but a few on your list, there is nothing wrong with putting ggg in top 5 chins

It's hard not to put a guy who has never been hurt or knocked down in 400 fights on best chins list

At heavyweight: Vitali Klitschko, Jim Jeffries, Oliver McCall.

All three never hit the floor. Jeffries did but it was a come back fight with him being out of the ring for six years.

    Middles: Toney, LaMotta, GGG, Hagler

    Lower Weights: Nelson, Ross, Armstrong

I really don't want to be the GGG casual fanboy but his propensity towards getting hit has led to him taking some huge punches, and he never looks more than irritated. Amir Khan almost needed Jesus to bring him back after taking a Canelo bomb clean, but Gennady just looked like Canelo had wafted a dog turd under his nose for a second.

Not trying to put him up with the greats but Nas had a good chin I thought. And sticking with less-than-blatantly-obvious (bit still quite obvious) picks, Eubank too. Carl Froch another whose chin was integral to his success.
