Exactly. You just need to keep an open mind and be totaly unbiased. There’s more than one truth.

I didn't have Canelo Mayweather a draw, but I did recognize it was a close fight, much closer than a lot of people think. We're not going to agree on every fight, scoring in boxing is subjective.

There's plenty of fans who say it was a Mayweather shutout which isn't staying neutral in my opinion. I had Canelo winning rounds 2,3,4,10 and possibly round 12. Also round 6 I scored even. That's pretty much my scorecard, depending on Round 12, I had it about 6-5 Floyd with 1 even or 6-4 Floyd with 2 even. Several of the rounds that Floyd won he won more clearly than the rounds Canelo won. Whether somebody wins a round 55/45 or 95/5 if you win a round you win a round and it's 10-9. That's why the scoring was so close. Most casuals don't seem to understand this concept.

Canelo hardly won any rounds clearly, becuase well he was fighting Floyd Mayweather and Floyd don't typically lose too many rounds. But in my view Canelo did edge about 4 or 5 rounds by the skin of his teeth and that's how boxing is scored. My scorecard is very similar to the average of the 3 judges so I'm very comfortable with seeing the bout close to how the judges saw it.

Close fight that, I was very neutral in how I scored that fight, a lot of people gave several close rounds to Floyd to have him winning wide. I didn't. I don't get swayed by popular belief.

Canelo - Floyd was close? That explains plenty...

Yes it was. It was Floyd's closest fight since Castillo / DLH.

I hate to go all Adelaide Byrd on you doubters but I couldn't give Clenalo more than one or two 9-9 rounds. Or 10-10 or whatever she would score.

Dude, that fight was never close and even Alvarez acknowledged it when the scores were read. You better kill this defense quick and grab at something else. Canelo got slapped up for 36 minutes and he learned from that fight.

With that are you suggesting that most of the rounds were clear and decisive for Mayweather, or would you agree that many rounds were close and could be argued in Canelo's favor?

Round 7 was Floyd's best round by far. The other 11 rounds were extremely close. Alvarez did learn from that fight but he gave Floyd all sorts of problems. Floyd bit and flinched on about 35 separate Canelo feints throughout the fight. Floyd fought a hell of a fight don't get me wrong, but Canelo was game and fought him tooth and nail. It was a very close competitive fight.
