    100% spot on. This is NSAC pandering to both side. "We suspended him (can't train or fight in US till April 10:hang)

    Why would Canelo give a flying **** if he can't train in the US. He is only suspended from training in the US. Is this even a punishment?

    Has no impact on the fight, which is May 5th. He will be cleared for the fight. There is no doubt he will be cleared.

    This. This temporary suspension is a slap on the wrist. A fighter without Canelo's status would've faced a one year suspension or at least be temporarily banned by the sanctioning bodies from participating in title fights like Ortiz and Povetkin were.

    this laughable meaningless suspension looks like damage control for casuals until they officially rule the fight will go on. oscar and canelo may get shaken down for loose change first though.
