It depends on the next test results from Canelo. I think Canelo will be clean after the next tests and the fight will happen in May.

Going by what Loefler said, they have tested Canelo multiple times after those two tests he failed, all clean and Canelo is very co-operative.

If it turns out that the NSAC is actually doing an investigation for once, probably driven by the lack of fate media, boxers, trainers, promoters and fans have in them, it very well might.

With the little information we have, it's kinda obvious that this probably wasn't due to meat contamination, and some further investigation and advise from an anti doping expert triggered this "temporary suspension". I'm 99% certain that the NSAC/Bennett wants this fight to take place, but they also know that wiping this under the carpet like usual, could lead to more loss of face and bigger names that more and more often come from abroad actively trying to avoid Nevada, despite of the lure of Vegas.
They might want to turn this into a "See, we're not the bad guys! We're really doing our jobs here" moment, and hand Canelo a token short (say 3 month) ban, because it was "difficult to determine" if it was or wasn't intentional. So Canelo can fight his usual September date anyway with time served, and the NSAC looks at least somewhat legit, taking action against a milk cow.

 

Not a chance, not unless Golovkin and Sanchez take matters into their own hands. Its clear NSAC and the WBC are in the pocket of Oscar, they wernt guna do anything with Canelo but with all the talk they have put some lame "temporary" suspension in in the hopes people shut up about it all. Clearly Canelo and his team are going to get away with this. So many questionable things about them already and so far every single questionable thing has been laughed off, dismissed and quickly swept under the carpet.

Dodgy weigh in (he was massive). Dodgy hand wraps. Dodgy needle marks on his body. Dodgy score cards. Failed PED tests. And the NSAC and WBC dont even blink on any of these subjects. Golovkin hopefully goes through with it and beats the steaming **** out of this massive cheat. Taking into account they wouldnt go anywhere near GGG until he aged and put some below parr performance in and reading back through all this i could be talking about Floyd Jr here, he really is an inspiration to Oscar DeLa Cheata.

 

Just how widespread is this contaminated meat in Mexico? Cuz there is alot of fat Mexicans maybe it needs to be more widespread.
