I think Whyte is competitive with Wilder. That's my takeaway.

I missed the big shot cause I went upstairs to check my bets.

Browne needs to lose weight or retire now, So happy I bet on Whyte:yaay

Brutal KO, absolutely brutal but Whyte has always had that power. He simply had too much boxing skill for Browne.
Wilder will still beat Whyte - but may well get wobbled like he did against Ortiz. Career best performance from Whyte.

Browne however came in to heavy and paid the price, he looked rusty and once the cut happened it was game over. He simply thinks he can win by landing a right hand and plod forward.. it worked against a shot Chagaev but it won't against good HW fighters like Whyte.

Goddammit that ****ing annoys me. Whyte is still ****ing worthless, Browne was old as ****, and Whyte was a little more skilled, that's the only reason he won.

After that KO, Wilder is certain to avoid Whyte.

Deontay's management will find him another old stiff to fight. Perhaps Lucas Browne, his performance today demonstrates he's the very kind of opponent Wilder likes!

With that KO loss Wilder is more likely to negotiate with Browne than with Whyte for a fight.

Really disappointing. Just goes to show how misleading a weigh in can be. Browne looked WAY worse on the night than he was stepping on the scale and flexing. He just showed up for the payday. Really a sad look for the HW division... I had a lot of uncertainty about this one, but Browne was in the state for those concerns to mean anything.

Browne got careless and too open because of the cuts. Probably was a bit hurt as well.
