    Wilder
    Joshua
    Parker
    Povetkin
    Ortiz
    Fury
    Pulev
    Miller
    Brazeale
    Jennings
    Ruiz Jr

I could agree with you if you said he was legit top 10, but Ortiz, Fury, Jennings, Ruiz Jr, Pulev, Miller would all have issue with your top 5 assertion

Was starting to think Browne had been paid off to make Whyte look good until he was laid out looking like the opening scene of Hangover Part IV.

Worst nightmare for the division is Whyte beats Wilder and then Joshus steams through Whyte again. Leaves Joshua with no credible opponent.

Gerald Washington was schooling Wilder for the whole fight, Duaphas battered Wilder so his mum wouldn’t recognise him and 45 year old Ortiz had him doing the chicken dance for 5 minutes so don’t make out Wilders got any more than a punchers chance

    Is that all you got?

No opinion or view as to why you believe what you just read is clueless?

    Blame the WBC.

They have had Whyte ranked at 1 for months.

Helenius was in complete survival mode during the Whyte fight, he's clearly adopted a complete change in his style and is now content to travel collecting his paychecks and stretching fights the distance. Helenius has been doing that for years now (Except the occasional incident where a French pastry chef sparks him out)

I don't know why fans thought that fight had any bearing on this one... Browne is not a fighter that has a backward gear or who knows how to fight negatively. Fighters like him are almost always "kill or be killed" sorts of fighters. They cultivate that over years and years of sparring and professional work... but when they hit that wall, they have no plan B.

Comparing Joshua vs Wlad ring showdown with Joshua vs Wilder is clueless.

I don't think Hearn is worried, I don't think AJ is worried about Wilder.

I think you have to look at that from a business standpoint, if they get Wilder in the ring before negotiations then it could cost them more money.

They don't want to promote Wilder, why give him platform?

Why willingly get him in the ring and on TV, why?

So he can say can turn around and say he is known in the UK, rated in the UK, the fans want to see it and deserves more money?

That's Wilders job to create a platform for himself and promote himself, they need to keep Wilder on ice, freeze him out somewhat and do not give him any publicity good or bad.

I'm a sad fella with too much time on his hands & has an OCD to watch every boxing interview & I can confirm when Whyte's name is brought up randomly to other boxers that they all praise him even though you can tell deep down they don't want to or don't feel he is in need of praise but they don't want Whyte & his brothers seeing the interview back.

Dave Allen is a classic. You can tell he doesn't rate Whyte & can't stand him even after their 'friendly' spars but doesn't have the bottle to say it.

Whyte and his crew are legit nuts. I can't stand him though.

Whyte the WBC Number 1 and quite likely to be made Wilders next mandatory so Deontay going to have to listen to Hearn talking about Whyte for a while.

Hearn can postpone the mandatory for a unification fight. Those are the rules. He's using Whyte as a road block.

I'm now 1 for 2 in big fight bets with respected fellow posters this year.

@CST80 bet me Browne would beat Whyte, for Horn vs. Crawford RBR thread rights.

@Drew101 is next, if Hurd beats Lara my avatar changes for the first time in years (we still have to negotiate exact terms, Drew, can't remember us ever stating a duration?) - which is a big deal, as I've only ever had two here including this one.

When's the last time someone actually tried to pull such a stunt? I think most boxers are actually very earnest in the ring, when it really comes down to it. How many fighters really try Direll like hijinks?
