Joey is a real tough SOB, I see Bryant winning a decision but not a KO, no way. An in shape (relatively speaking) Joey, took bombs by Amir Mansour (who is IMO heads and tails above Charles Martin). If he's in shape he's gonna make it a good scrap and come out on the wrong side of a division.
Jennings can definitely outwork Joey and I suspect Dawejko will tire after 5 or 6. Jennings should win this one and will probably get the stoppage down the stretch - but he can't afford to get sloppy because Joey's got some serious power in that right overhand and he can throw some pretty big stuff to the body, too.
Yeah, Mansour was pretty cautious around Joey (who rocked him early) until Joey started to tire. Mansour came in pretty small (217 lbs - maybe 10 less than usual) for that fight - so maybe that was a factor, too.
JD is the epitome of a flat footed fighter Jennings has a great guard inside a his counter uppercuts are lethal. Ntm,his have always looks Holmes Esque against this type Jennings needs a solid come back name a KO over JP should get him onto another big one. I could see Bye and Martin going into a WBA eliminator to get the Charr Oquendo title
Jennings easily. Charles Martin made Dawejko quit after four rounds I believe. Why is Jennings fighting this guy, he isn't a contender. It's a waste of time fight.
Because he's trying to stay busy and land another big fight.... Dawejko isn't great sure... But beating guys like him especially in quick succession is the way to earn another big fight.
