Anthony Yarde's bum carousel continues

It’s not set in stone by any means but I’ll be disappointed in frank if it is. He promised us a big step up at this event for Yarde and Dubois.

 

This is the route he needs to go down instead of fighting feather fisted Polish nobodies.

 

Yeah, agree with this. I’ve Just had another look at Sek and he’s probably the same level as Averlant and overall it’s just another fight to gain experience, which makes sense. He’s also better then the likes of Burton or Callum Johnson have been facing. However, Frank is/should feel under pressure to do decent tickets as he’s going on the 02 and also to continue to raise Yarde profile. I said this earlier In the thread, but if frank had put him in with say Ricky Summers I think most would be ok (simply because they know the name and his British).

 

Someone like Gary Cornish or Tom little would be ok For Dubois at this point.

 

I put forward Cornish myself in another thread. Only lost one or two. Feather fisted. Strong British name for an up and comer.

Hearn says they’re making him an offer on Monday to fight Johnson. Will let it go on that other platform or on a proper channel he says.

This is funny. Hearn blocked Warren’s attempts to get Buglioni to defend against Yarde- a fight that people wanted to see. And before anybody goes on about the boards decision that was made afterwards and the rules would have allowed Buglioni to step Johnson aside. Instead Eddie says ‘fight Burton first instead’ (a geezer who he’s done nothing with since Buglioni and was last seen getting walked down and blooded by a bum on a rubbish NXGEN card) and everybody cried that Yarde is ducking even though nobody was asking to see Yarde - Burton beforehand.

So now because Hearn is likely to make an offer (which none of us know what the terms are going to be or if he is genuine about sending Johnson to fight on Warren card) you and many others are automatically going to be bashing Warren/Yarde again..boxing is a funny old game.

 

By the time Yarde reaches world level he won't be a LHW, he's already too tight at the weight. Cruiserweight is even scarier and probably less lucrative for him. The problem with both these divisions is the gap between British level and world level is so massive...

 

yarde should have fought burton because yarde has doing nothing to deserve a British title shot and beating burton would be a 100 times better win then the trash his fought them joke titles don't mean a thing lol

 

Who exactly has Burton beaten that made him deserving of the British title shot and Yarde not? Averlant and Sjekloca are actually better names then anything on Hoseas CV.

Callum Johnson has been inactive for 2years and hadn’t beaten anybody either yet he was able to fight for the British - why was he deserving and Yarde not...

As for the WBO belts, I agree there silly but at the same time, Like it or not Yarde is no 2 ranked with the WBO because of those belts and Warren. I’m not saying he’s going to fight Kovalev, obviously not but if the opportunity comes for an easy title shot in the future he’s basically in pole position.
