Didn't he used to slag off Calzage for not fighting him age 40?

 

He has probably flirted with the idea, maybe a mini midlife crisis.

And looking at all the money involved now, the hype, the exposure and looking how boxing now in the UK is absolutely buzzing Froch may well have been tempted.

But I highly doubt he will make a comeback, once he sits down, talks to family, friends and people involved in boxing I believe he will see sense.

If Froch came back he would more than likely be at 175, I dot fancy a 40 year old Froch's chances in that division right now do you?

 

If I was him I'd train for 3 months first to see if I've still got it. If not then sack it. Don't want to end up like ricky or worse, like lucas brown on saturday moving like an unfit 60 year old.

 

He's still very young looking guy for his age, I was surprised he retired, well not really cause he's rich af!

He tried to get fight with Calzaghe when he was Joe's mandatory, Joe was 33/34 at the time. He also had option to fight Froch instead of Manfredo for a much bigger pay day.

 

I know but he wanted Joe after he retired also. Was still moaning about it in 2015.
