It might come across like I’m engaging in some conspiracy like thinking but is there a chance GGGs team have told Saunders to stay availiable for the next few weeks? I just find it coincidental that Saunders vs Murray gets postponed amidst doubt in regards to the Canelo fight going ahead.

Far from impossible IMHO. And to be honest, as a fan I'd rather see this than the Canelo rematch. I really don't know whether BJS can manage to outbox Golovkin over 12, I give him a better chance than most actually. Canelo could always fight the winner after either a suspension or being cleared.
Only if the fight with Canelo gets canceled.. Well see.. BJS is a whole other monster.. Hopefully he gets proper time to prepare for him. I know hes been training but its a different fight.. Different game plan altogether but I hope we get to see it.. At some point.. I dont think this fight will be canceled.
As KiwiMan said I'd rather see GGG vs BJS than the Canelo rematch and then at a later stage Canelo can fight the winner.
I have no doubt that BJS has picked up an injury, but like @jmashyaka, the very late date of the rescheduling surprises me. I don't think it takes anywhere near that long for the injury to heal and BJS to get enough sparring in.
Yeah tbh I wanted this fight for GGG before the Canelo fight. I don’t know why K2 don’t understand that Canelo needs GGG a lot now, who else is there for him to fight that brings as much fans out than GGG?
