You know what's funny about the meat excuse? That there are idiots who actually believe it.

Clenelo has a net worth of over $25 Million. He has been in boxing for over 10 years. He's had 52 fights and has trained in Mexico for most of his career. Let's not forget that he has a strict diet as a professional fighter.

And they expect me to believe that a guy with that much money and that much experience is going to suddenly eat tainted beef (which is not part of his diet, by the way) from some random meat market. If you believe that, I have some magic beans to sell you.

Not possible for a couple reasons, one the richer athlete will have the best gear and doctors equating to a huge advantage. And two there will have to be limits set otherwise you will have deaths and within those limits you will have guys cheating past the limit. It will be the same thing only slightly different. To reiterate it'll be the same game just with different rules and a much higher number of health issues.

This WBA president needs a good kicking, an old fashioned slap, you know the classic back hand slap right across the face, I'll do it, I have no problem giving him a dig.

Anybody see his comments? Well, Apparently he thinks the temporary suspension/hearing for Canelo is "a bit unfair" and "Canelo is innocent".

How would he know Canelo is innocent? Has he actually investigated it? Can we see the results of his investigation?

And since when did he become judge and jury?

He is the head and representing a governing body, he isn't a promoter, he isn't a lawyer, he isnt involved with Canelo directly and Canelo doesn't even hold a WBA title.

The WBA are an absolute joke. If I was Golovkin I'd try to win all the titles, take a picture and then throw the WBA title straight in a dustbin. I'd give it back, I wouldn't want to hold that tin pot piece of corrupt crap.

The sanctioning bodies are all corrupt. The bigger the purse, the bigger the sanctioning fee is for the belt. These for profit organization will back the PPV stars no matter what. Their life depends on it.

    Magic beans yes please!
Add this to his ever increasing Berto HGH gut,cow meat torso and humongous head the thought of tainted meat doing that is a real stretch for most of us.
That said if it’s on the news,if it came from Kellerman then it has to be right doesn’t it?

This. But there’s also something that I think is worse in the “unintended consequences” categories...kids will begin juicing even more than they are now. I knew guys in high school who were roiding in ‘90- one who went on to become a pro heavyweight boxer. Right now there’s still a fear (somewhat) of breaking the law and that restrains some athletes. Remove that and you’ll have kids in jr high gearing up. PEDs will be accepted as absolutely necessary to make varsity teams, go to college and of course to turn pro.

Oohhh so now we need to legalize them. But when it was Floyd Joy Mayflower crying to clean up the sport, everyone agreed. Now CLENelo gets busted = legalize them.

Why don't you just start crying about it then?

And who said he's a judge and jury? Way to be a Drama Queen about it ! He's not judge and jury, he's just giving his opinion on the situation. He doesn't have any power to influence the NSAC's decision obviously. Why do you feel the need to spazz out about his statement? You're such a Golovkin nuthugger it's not even funny. Get a hold of yourself.

Now you're advocating that Golovkin vacate the WBA Title? lmao What about when Canelo vacated the WBC Title? Golovkin fans never let Canelo hear the end of that, but now one statement by the WBA Pres supporting Canelo and you want Golovkin to drop the WBA belt? The WBA Pres probably thinks the test is from contaminated meat since it's a known problem in Mexico, and therefore Canelo is innocent. I'm glad the WBA Pres spoke out about it. And he has a point, they are prolonging the distraction for 2 more weeks until April 10th. Personally I don't have any problem with the hearing, because if they didn't have the hearing the Golovkin fanbase would act like it was just swept under the rug, at least this way it shows they are taking it seriously.

What is your opinion on the Luis Nery situation? Do you buy his argument that it was contaminated meat? Do you agree with the WBC's decision to have the result of the bout stand and letting him keep his belt? Do you consider Luis Nery a cheater?

Luis Nery is a cheater and the WBC is a **** organization. But we're not talking about Luis Nery, we're talking about Canelo...who doesn't have beef as part of his diet, but claim meat contamination.

OK so you consider Luis Nery a cheater, despite the WBC declaring it was from contaminated meat and letting him keep his title. He's from Mexico too you know. I agree we're talking about Canelo, but that's an important case for comparison sake. The Luis Nery situation is significant because it destroys the argument that Canelo is getting some kind of special treatment. With Nery beating cleared for a similar issue, there's a precedent to clear Canelo as well.

I know there have been statements about how Canelo doesn't eat red meat during his training camps, but when he was tested he was living at home in Mexico before he started his full training camp (in Colorado I believe) so I don't see how you can say with any certainty that you know for a fact that red meat or beef isn't a part of his diet.

Fury should have that win changed to a NC and should of recieved a longer suspension with the refusal to take a test and his failed tests.
