GGG vs Saunders/Charlo wouldn’t do more than 200K PPV

The Canelo rematch would do around 2 million, Canelo vs. anyone would do at least 7-800K PPV.
I’m a Golovkin fan but he doesn’t bring money to the table.

Nevertheless, obviously Golovkin vs Saunders or Charlo isn't going to do anything like the numbers the Canelo rematch would do.

I think Golovkin can break 300k with the right opponents. He got an immense popularity boost.

 

You're probably right about the numbers. What happened sucks but boxing will lose a lot or credibility if they allow this fight to continue.. I really want to see it and couldn't give to f**ks if Canelo is on Clenbuterol or whatever but its just a bad move for the sport.. I think the fight is in serious jeopardy due to this PED issue. I think they will make an example out of this. And righfuly so since this is a serious issue.. it opens doors for cheaters and PED users to get comfy if Canelo only gets a slap on the wrist and doesn't get properly suspended. That being said well see. Boxing is a prizefighting sport and its all about money but with all this PED use recently I think they will make an example out of Canelo being that he is such a big name for the sport.

Its not like Golovkin is some whistle blower. If Canelo gets suspended then its his and his teams fault.
If Canelo pulls out due to Golovkins comments then you have a point.

 

There'd be a couple of factors to consider. If Canelo gets a ban (which he should), people will be mad. That could be a huge boost for GGG. If GGG fights someone else, he'll get the bigger share, 75% if it's a mandatory challenge.

 

Canelo gets caught cheating.
GGG gets mad and complains.
GGG is now in the wrong ? for Canelo getting popped ? Somehow i miss the logic here.

If Canelo never got popped, none of this would of happened.

I don't care if Golovkin vs Billy Bob (forget about Andrade for the time being)only does a 100 PPV buys against Golovkin vs Alvarez 5 million buys, because that's no reason to let someone get away with cheating. I know it actually does in reality (look at Floyd vs Pac), but it really shouldn't.

By the way, I rather have the Saunders fight for all the marbles as the rematch against a guy that's only still in the picture due to the rife corruption in boxing.
