The WBC only cares what who makes them money. They don't care about ethics.

I'm certain because if I was a fighter with Canelo's wealth and has the team that he has, I would make sure I eat the best meats, the most organic meats, regardless of where I live. And knowing that beef could be contaminated, I would eat other meats like lamb and chicken.

And if Alvarez really believe he's clean...take the hair test. The hair test can go back as much as 90 days and if he's clean, he has nothing to hide.

Destroying myself? lol I don't think so buddy. More like wishful thinking on your part. I actually followed boxing when the talent pool was very deep in the 90's and early 2000s. ODLH fought in an era where several fighters became ATGs. ODLH is an ATG because he has ATG talents, that's the first thing you need to consider.

If you're basing your theory that DLH loses to GGG off his one fight against Felix Sturm then you're not putting much thought into your opinion. It is was clear ODLH was not in fighting form when he fought Felix Sturm. Leading up to the fight you could see how fat ODLH was before entering training camp, a sign that ODLH was not keeping in form. On fight night ODLH looked like a complete slob. Why use the worst possible DLH to measure what he is capable of doing in the ring.

Your theory that GGG beats DLH is based purely on Golovkin's size advantage, or are there any other major variables you see? IMO 154 ODLH beats GGG, and size would have very little impact on this fight. Six pounds would make very little difference when facing an ATG.

First of most of the hardcore GGG fans will tell you that GGG is a small MW, that has been repeated multiple times by GGG's most loyal fanatics who have extensively studied him, Abel Sanchez has repeatedly said that GGG could go down as far as 154. GGG himself said that he would be able to make 154. Considering that, the size advantage would NOT be very significant.

Secondly, ODLH has always proved to excel against come forward fighter. There is nothing to suggest that Golovkin would trouble De La Hoya.
De La Hoya had a superior Jab to Golovkin's, which is one of GGG's best assets. DLH's jab was faster harder, and has been considered an ATG Jab by many in boxing. GGG isn't winning by jabbing.
De La Hoya is also significantly faster than GGG, and was excellent at parrying. GGG missed nearly 70% of his punches against Canelo, who imo is not on DLH's level, DLH would make GGG look slow, lethargic, and one dimensional. DLH would easily beat GGG to the punch, and would have no issues parrying what came back at him. Even FMJ who had some of the fastest hands was getting a significant amount of his punches parried.

ODLH is also multi dimensional. He has proven he fight fight from the outside like he did against hard hitting banger Tito Trinidad, he has proven he can fight on the inside like he did against master in fighter JCC, and he clearly was at his best fighting mid range, where is where GGG usually fights.

I'm not trying to diminish who GGG is, I think he's one of the best fighters today, but I don't really see what he can do to beat a fighter as complete as ODLH, especially when he couldn't beat a fighter of Canelo's caliber, and barely escaped with a win against Jacobs.

I know Oscar had his flaws, but I don't see any of GGG's strengths troubling DLH. GGG was this monster when he was fighting low level opposition, but as soon as he stepped up against better opposition he didn't look as impressive.

If NSAC does the right thing then it should be cancelled.
But we all know that NSAC means - Nevada's Station for Athletic Corruption /////

Got tickets for it so ****ing hope not.

There's precedence with clearing fighters who have tested positive for the same substance, and I wonder if NSAC have discussed the issue with California or New York who have had similar issues in the past.

It doesn't work that way at all. Passing further tests after being caught doesn't make the failed ones irrelevant. Canelo should be judged and sanctionned.

If Conte is right(Canelo testing extremely high levels in comparison to others who tested positive to contaminated meat) then its a strong possibility.

I corrected the comment I replied to. It suggested that only 2 tests had been done and he’s yet to be tested again.

I looked into a lot of this, there are ahtletes that have been banned for way less than the concentration found in Canelos sample (usually around 50 - 200 pg/ml). On the other hand Luis Nery's concentration was even higher 1,5ng/ml or 1500 pg/ml. There's also a mexican soccer player with the same number. I think Mexico actually has a contaminated meat problem, unfortunately that includes some of their athletes. It's just an easy excuse, so some of them exploit that fact.

Here's an actual study of regular people ingesting contaminated meat, the highest concentration was about 50pg/ml. And those guys ate that meat for years.
