I expect Joshua to win, by UD or TKO, KO, but I will not be surprised if Parker were to win either. I think we are all underestimating Parker, if I were a betting man I would bet on Joshua, but I have to give Parker a chance. I just don't know what to expect, we could all be surprised......................I just hope it's a good fight like the Klitschko fight was, that was exciting....................I really don't know enough about Parker to be sure, I think it will probably be a TKO, either early or late..................but could go the distance, damn, I am not psychic, Parker is a huge underdog though, if he were to win it would be one of the biggest upsets in boxing history................what are the odds? -1000 to + 100? Actually I think they are better than that.........................Did you ever wonder why Wilder did not take the fight with Joshua? Parker had the balls to take the fight, Wilder tucked his tail and ran.................

I am going for the USO by upset.

    TKO 9-10.

Joshua looks vulnerable. Just the speed and work rate of Parker will slice the Brit and chop him down in the middle to late rounds.

I can not see a win for Parker here. I doubt he has the power to KO/TKO AJ, AJ was rocked hard by Wlad and Parker hasn't the same power, won only two of his last six fights by KO/TKO (Dimitrenko/Haumono). He had to go the full distance with Ruiz Jr, Takam, Cojanu and Fury. The decisions vs Ruiz Jr/Takam/Fury were close, no domination job or something. I can not see him win by points either, AJ has the home factor, superstar protection factor AND of course his abilities and how on earth is he gonna lose 6-7 rounds here? No way....nevertheless i expect a tough fight, i think this will go to a decision and AJ took an UD with 10-2/9-3/8-4 rounds (depends on how Parker shows up). AJ has respect, Parker has a strong amateur background and LOOKS like a tough guy who is not easy to crack and catch. I give him that. Prob the best opponent AJ has ever faced because Klitschko was beyond his prime although he had the power to trouble him as we saw.
I think Tyson Fury is the only opponent who can outbox a guy like AJ right now.

Parkers stamina and chin are the keys to the fight for him. He has to find away to get past Joshua's jab land to head and body and get back out again and do this for 36 minutes.

Problems is Parker is upright his chin looks good but its there to be hit. What happens to his stamina when a guy the size and strength of Joshua starts landing. Parker hasn't looked great since stepping up to world level hasn't stopped anyone of note for years. I cant see him overcoming the physical disadvantages.

He has a chance - but its a small one. Joshua has too many weapons. height, reach, power, jab

Well nobody outside the UK was able to until yesterday. (not sure what Sky believe they're gaining by sitting on the full episodes for so long :nusenuse:)

    Anyway, thoughts on it?

They make money off people watching it on Catch Up. They would want money off it before releasing it for free to promote the fight.

I suppose, kind of sucks for the international fans though (who logistically couldn't even subscribe if we did want to), and this certainly isn't a fight attracting interest solely from the Brits - can't they upload it to YT and geo-block it domestically until after they've reaped all they want to from their On Demand customers?

In case any of my fellow Yanks were unaware:

Ring walks should probably be underway not long after the start of Showtime coverage. Guessing little if any undercard- that'll already be 10pm local time in the UK.

(also somebody needs to remind this mook in charge of social media for Showtime of the fact that draws and no contests exist in boxing, with these presumptuous declarative statements like "ONE man will remain undefeated.." :shakehead:)

The fight will be far closer than the poll. I think AJ will win a 7-5/8-4 type of decision.(not implying homecooking scorecards, AJ will do enough to get the nod)

While very true, there's something quite powerful to hearing Buffer say "somebody's 0 has got to go..." before a big one starts.

Buffer is a legend and makes it sound poetic so I give him a pass, but the random Showtime intern ain't got it like that. :sisi1
