Mental dedication decreases after an athlete spends a long enough time in their sport and after they achieve pretty much everything there is to achieve. Like Wladimir Klitschko has. And more so when an athlete has other things to worry about, outside their sport (such as family affairs).

Stamina, reflexes, mental sharpness and foot speed all decline in a boxer after they reach their late 30's. Sometimes to the point where they no longer can remain a top level boxer.

Please! Anthony Joshua's movement really isn't better than Kubrat Pulev's. And Wlad at his best has been able to catch better movers / equally good movers with his left hook compared to Anthony Joshua.

18 months off the ring is a big factor at age 41 to a boxer's timing and mental sharpness. Yet, Wlad still managed to make it a 50/50 fight until he ran out of stamina due to old age. In other words, a handicapped Wlad was in a 50/50 fight against a better prepared and better conditioned AJ.

And sure! A guy who has been part of the Bulgarian military that has witnessed far worse things than boxing bouts is going to be scared of another boxer. Keep believing that if you like!

False.....Pulev did not have power or ability to press Klitchko...he was a sitting duck.Pulev could only work a jab.

You cannot defeat AJ without proper footwork or ability to hold your ground and out strike him...not even Klitchko had the punching ability alone which is why the footwork SET up the shots, which is why ALL the HBO commentators even said he has NEVER displayed those skills to that extent before.

And he HAD to otherwise Klitchko doesn't make it to round 11. Rounds 1 to 4 and 9 to 11 he was using great footwork, but Joshua was still to much for him.


The hard truth for you guys is Klitchko had the best preparation for Joshua and would have went undefeated had he fought like that throughout his career! End of story..pack up shop...goodbye...AGAIN!
