Right, like all of those times he said there was “no chance” Mayweather-McGregor would ever happen. As the story developed, he continuously denied the fight could ever be put together or a commission would ever sanction the fight. He criticized anyone who disagreed with him. Then after the fight was announced he pulled a total 180 and shamefully promoted it.

Fat Dan has good contacts in the business but he can be wrong too.

I think Canelo will be suspended for 6 months and I believe Golovkin will be smart about this and get his mandatory Sergey Derevychenko out of the way . Like Wilder did with bermane sticker . Derevyanchenko is always training . This will be a good fight and like always you gotta respect golovkin for fighting the top competition. Who do you guys think would win. And guys come on derevychenko has been waiting for a fight like this who you guys got ?

If Clenelo can't prove or at least create some doubt at this hearing, NSAC is gonna do two things.

    Suspend him right away.

Let the fight proceed, testing the ever love CLEN out of him, then making him fight clean...and then suspend him.

Oh I bloody hope not as I wanna see a proper outcome to this fight and asap.
Problem is with GGG ageing and Canelo only ever fighting May and Sept I don’t think anyone wants this to drag on thus giving folk excuses say if Canelo wins folk would say GGG was to old and potentially if GGG won theyed say Canelo had too much on his mind at that time, get the fight done on Cinco de maya and may the best man win.

I did hear something about this which is probably bull s*** but still it’s good to speculate and that was re Canelo testing positive when he did,so for such a consummate pro as Canelo is,never failed a test before this, always makes weight, has judges and Ref on side and doesn’t leave anything to chance do you not therefore think it’s odd Canelo testing no positive when he did even if it is the meat as they saying.
Point is as Paulie said the fighters themselves know when they winning or down a few rounds(unless you’re thick as Scott Quigg and Gallagher lol)and in Canelos case he fought so well, the fight of his life and yet in his heart he knows he lost as did the public in the arena.
I reckon given what’s happened with the Clenbuterol, tainted meat thing,Canelo and GB know that with public pressure and the furore over the first fight that they can’t pull that trick again as the backlash will be huge with the world watching on so there’s a good chance this time that whoever wins the result will be fair.
Canelo knows full well what’s at stake,to beat Golovkin fairly he’d need to either knock him out(unlikely)or he’d have to find at least 20% or even 30% more to hang with Golovkin, mix it up and outpoint GGG this time and him n Oscar also know that this is unLikely as rematches quite often go the same way as the first fight.

So to reiterate and I’ll admit it’s reaching somewhat but could it be that Canelo has tested positive for tainted meat in the knowledge that the fight would get cancelled and he could get out of fighting Golovkin again whilst saving face somewhat when it’s proved he had tainted meat.
Crazy thing is and I’ve read this already on here from Canelo nut huggers is that we’re this to happen it would somehow be Golovkins fault for no rematch.

You have to say the timing of this allied to how Canelo and his team with their two dates a year are so scientific about all this that to test positive at this period in time is mighty suspect.

    Canelo-O'Sullivan in May

Golovkin's competition came alive in the Jacobs fight. His last two have been good. First 10 years of his career...Meh.

Brook's day in weight is insignificant. The guy powerlifted for an early KO, and gassed in the third round, he was way to big and was stiff and slow, and he still never went down. GGG in his prime beats Saunders, but that's just it; he's over-th-hill on the way to being washed-up, and a slick southpaw like Saunders (or Andrade) is not what he needs.

Derevy has not had many fights, but again, it's Golovkin's age, and he's not an inexperienced young guy, It's a great fight, and the Ukranian's biggest strength is that they don't get tired.
