Wilder hasn't earned a shot at "The Man" he needs some decent scalps.

The way I see it is Wilder can ***** and moan all he wants about not getting a shot at Joshua. You have to earn a shot at the man. And right now Joshua is regarded as the man at HW.

When Wilder gets some decent scalps then I'll be all over AJ for not taking a Wilder fight if he chooses to avoid Wilder. As it stands though Wilder hasn't beaten anybody. He's beaten 2 old fat guys and then like 35 bums. It's not enough to justify a shot against AJ.

If he adds some credible scalps like Whyte, Takam or Parker then I can jump on board the Wilder AJ hype train. Until then it's sour grapes from Wilder.

It would be a start and a step up from the bums he's been fighting his whole career.

So what has other boxers done to earn a shot ?

I'm no fan of Wilder but the hate for Wilder is just to much. Please tell me how Takam, Molina, Breazeale, Martin, Whyte , and Parker are more deserving. Not one of those names I've mention have "decent scalps" that you speak of. Yet somehow they earned the title shot.

He's done as much as anybody. Only Povetkin and Parker have really done more, and I'd like to see those titles unified again.

Lobk just said a mouthful and you won't have an answer lmao.

What makes Whyte a decent win? The ex kickboxer ko'd a Aussie bouncer and won a SD over a "glussed in the press conference and ring by Haye" Chisora!

This the same psycho-babble that Floyd Mayweather Jr. was pushing when people wanted him to fight Pacquiao and other guys. I didn't like it from him and I don't like it with anyone else. It's all a con game in the end.

If you’re dismissing the win over Ortiz then I’m dismissing your opinion.

That was probably the biggest challenge Wilder could take short of fighting Joshua.

I ranked Ortiz about the same as Parker and Povetkin. However Ortiz is trickier and a southpaw as well.

It's not enough to demand 50\50 or may be even 40\60 but that's enough to get fight in general. AJ doesn't have really interesting opponents for fights which will be called "big fights" except Wilder. Povetkin, Ortiz are good and strong boxers, but they is getting older and if now many criticise Wilder and even try dismissing the win over Ortiz becausethe age of Ortiz, what will they say if AJ faces with Ortiz or Povetkin (who is 38 years old)

Who else is really out there for Wilder to fight other than AJ/Whyte/Povetkin?

If AJ gets through Parker which isn't exactly a given they should just do:

    Wilder/Whyte in U.K.
    AJ/Miller in U.S

Then do Wilder/AJ in the U.S leading to hopefully a Fury fight if he's got himself together by then.

Wilder refused $4,000,000 to fight Whyte, he did everything he could to get out of fighting Povetkin, even after Povetkin was cleared by VADA Haymon had to protect, him, Wilder will not fight Joshua, doubt if he will fight Miller, he would not fight Parker, nor Andy Ruiz..................can't wait until Sirenko starts getting some big fights, and Taishan would be interesting, but Buddy McGirt is taking Taishan very slowly, there are others, Usyk and Gassiev will become heavyweights, I saw Usyk easily out box Joyce, total mismatch, yet Joyce was 6 feet 6 inches tall, out weighed Usyk as well, Usyk is only 6 foot 3 inches tall, but he sure can box....................

Thats all nice in theory.... but, outside of Povetkin, who AJ would be stupid to fight instead of Wilder, so after AJ fights Parker, who will be available to fight that has a better resume than Wilder?

And rating Whyte or Takam above Ortiz or even on par is highly questionable.

Seriously it' pointless arguing with these mugs. They just spout whatever Hearn tells them to.

People really wpuld.rather watch Wilder v A British level heavyweight than they would a unification for all the belts.

    Speechless

Ortiz was a 45 year old plodder on blood pressure meds, denied his use of PED'S and was never even a belt holder.
