Havn't watched it for 8 years, but the telecast i saw had it going slightly for Mosley, and i remember agreeing with it. Won a whole lotta $$$ too, lol.
I'm sure the Canelo ball grazers would agree....seeing as virtually all ringside reported Shane's punches noticeably louder than DLH's when landing, one could argue Shane won with the harder punches. Of course, that's all moot now.
I apologize on the wrong term I used. English is the third language I learned. I tend to make mistakes
Yup. It came out that he was on EPO and part of BALCO. I don’t think he tested positive after the fight, though. It came out later with the Balco records. I think Shane said Victor Conte was lying and Victor plunked Shane by revealing the documents.
Mosley landed 3 very good punches the entire fight. You really are clueless as to how to score a professional boxing match. 10 point must scoring system. Look it up and be enlightened. www.google.com Added a hyperlink to facilitate you in your quest to understanding.
De la Hoya was throwing shoe shines to the body and many of them were not even landing very cleanly. On the other hand, De La Hoya's defense was mediocre at best. Sturm damn near landed at will on De La Hoya's mug (when he decided to throw of course). If you favor clean punching than you little choice but to score the fight for Sturm. This is coming for someone who likes De la Hoya and dislikes Sturm.
Obviously your wrong ,as usual through bi-assed eye's sweetboy...now run along & report me again or the pressure gonna get you lol smart mouth
Mosely scored ten shots in Rd 4 but he didn`t keep touching Oscar wit the jab constantly like his corner suggested and he didn`t work the body like they asked, he only scored two body shots that round, Oscar scored 9 shots and used his jab more than Mosely like Floyd asked of him but he should of thrown more jabs.
This fight was used in a ref and judges seminar at a WBC convention and out of around 100 judges present about 5 had it for Mosely and Anek and Ford were among the 5. They had been competent judges in the past but both seemed to lose it at the tail end of their careers. The general consensus was 9 rds to DLH.
