Not a super heavyweight He is going to get his first taste of fighting these 6'7" 250lb stupid size men. He will be totally useless. He is going to have to show some special chin and grit to make it through this fight because guess what? he is going to be stuck right on the end of AJ's offensive range...meanwhile he is going to have to work very hard just to land blows...
Joshua at 6 ft 6 will be tough to deal with, yes But Parker has very fast hands and sharp, short, powerful inside punches. If Parker can get inside Joshua’s reach, he can take him out. Parker is a very skilled pressure fighter. Reminds me of Povetkin Parker to win....late tko
I was surprised how small he looked at the presser even next to Eddie. He looked too small for the suit he wore to. I think he’s gonna look tiny in the ring next to AJ.
Joshua gassed against Klit. Should have been knocked out and would have been against a younger fighter. Takam got stopped on his feet and may well have stopped him in the last 2 rounds had the fight continued. Joshua’s luck IS going to run out against a very skilled heavy in Joseph Parker.
He fought dimitrenko who is 6'7" 255lbs and smashed him to bits Parker is a solid 6'4" and a BIG man samoan bone structure. He is naturally BIGGER than joshua and will destroy him like he did dimintrenko
parker will be fine.. even if he loses I think its going 12 rounds unless the ref trys to protect Joshua ko record like vs takam.
Well said. And he's healthy heading into the ring. Hasn't been able to turn those short L hook over since the early rds of the Takam fight. But he sure as F wasn't going to pass on his title shot and thought rehab was enough. I expect we'll see the best of both fighters to date this weekend
Size only matters in the bedroom. You're right though a good big man beats a good small man. Only thing is Juiceman has been ktfo in sparring by men of all shapes and sizes. Sparring is sparring though it's a mess
My only worry for JP. He does sometimes take breathers on the ropes. I can see the ref waving his arms as joshua hits air and gloves
yea... if they do a bs stoppage vs parker like they did vs takam.. then I will lose any respect I got left for hearn and Joshua.. if they screw over my favorite boxer I will be rooting against them for the rest of there careers
You cant compare dimintrenko to AJ. also AJ is about 3 inches taller than Parker. My $$$ is on Parker to win at 6.5/1... However I think AJ wins due to recent form.
Parker is 6'4 And fights at 247lbs. I don' think a.j.s 2 inchs of height and 10lbs heavier would make a difference.
i'll use whatever I want ... if Joshua beats parker fair and square fine i'll say congratz to joshua... but if they pull a stoppage like they did vs takam then no..
