Help me understand why Al Haymon let Charles Martin fight Joshua and not Wilder?

This proves to me that Al knows money, not boxing. He has no idea how to promote or maneuver a fighter, he just knows how to spend the dough. Wilder could have had that IBF title years ago but Haymon being the monopoly man at the time, let him go over to England to receive a career ending KO by someone else's fighter.
Was Wilder ranked on any other sanctioning bodies list besides the WBC?

I thought he had no choice? The sanctioning bodies wouldn't go for it. Meanwhile Hearn was offering serious money. Plus he got options on AJ's next two defences, Breazeale and Molina. A win from either of those would've brought the belt back under his control.

And have Joshua become a mandatory for Wilder?????? Feed Joshua the IBF belt and keep him away from becoming Wilders mandatory. Simple maths.

You've been living under a rock? Chucky left a TRAIL of decimated bodies in 2017. :deal: He's god-marching his way back into contention, one tomato can by one.

Well you answered your question: It's all about money. How much would Haymon get from a Wilder fight and from a fight in the UK against Joshua?

Haymon knows Wilder can't beat Joshua. Martin had not business getting ranked in the top ten, Breazeale will get a shot, he is owned by Haymon, Povetkin will be kept out of the picture..................

Because Joshua would have handed him an L , so there goes his sunk ship!

Look at how many title defenses Wilder has accumulated since Joshua became champion. On top of that the fight wasn't even possible until now so all talks of ducking is for the idiots!

It would of been unfair to stop Martin getting that payday
