    Fighters like Kovalev, and Wilder are old school fighters with an insatiable desire to see their opponents be punished.

    They are of a different breed - Natural born killers who's thirst for blood overrides any sense of morality

    If they were not boxers they'd be serial killers.

    Be grateful they chose this profession.

    @Sephiroth Rising 7 does have a point. Not a tasteful comment, but again not everyone is supposed to be articulate & likable.
    Boxing is the only sport- that isn't a game.

    I'm no fan of Wilder but I can envision the same guys who are against Wilder for saying such things are probably big Tyson fans.

    Kovalev is an actual killer. One of the few fighters who did not lose his killer instinct after an in-ring death or maiming. Kovalev seems like he has a screw loose in the way he enjoys inflicting pain on opponents.

    Wilder on the other hand is the king of hyperbole. If he wasn’t boxing, he would not be a serial killer. He’d be taking orders at the IHOP in his hometown.

    That's what the OP is pointing out. He isn't articulate and when he says stupid things like this he certainly isn't likeable. He's not even a Tyson like bad guy he just comes across as a *****.
