    Let's be serious, Joshua won that fight very clearly.



    Played out pretty much as I expected. Nothing too spectacular from AJ, but conclusive enough.

    He did land something, or else why did Parker become tentative after 7 rounds. Parker had early mid success.

    Parker's performance wasn't an analogue of Fury's (reverse gear notwithstanding) and AJ's wasn't an analogue of Wlad's (forward gear notwithstanding).

    In both fights, the more generally effective man got the decision.

    No, they weren't, Parker landed a few more than Fury, AJ tried even less than Wlad.

    Parker landed even less. Most of Parker's jabs were shorting, or hitting glove. Not scoring blows. I'm not saying Joshua had a high work rate at all. He was big, slow, and predictable, and was ripe for the taking. I saw him out land Parker, in both jabs, and power shots though. Even hurting Parker twice with jabs. He couldn't land that right hand for **** though, upstairs. Neither guy was doing much offensively, but the little that was happening, Joshua was outlanding him in my opinion, most of the time. It seems like a fight that if it is video analyzed, you would have extremely low punch connects.

    Parker fought like he thought he was back in the South Pacific, with his own ref, and two judges already spotting him six rounds. That's on him. He should have no complaints. It was a winnable fight for him, but he didn't want it.

    Is there a ringside scorecard for Parker yet? All the media ringside scorecards I've seen so far are for Joshua.

    There will be some for Parker. Getting an idea of the ratio would be good.

    You let your disdain for certain fighters cloud your opinion. It's laughable that people are even acting like Parker did enough to win the fight. This fight wasn't close.

    And you know that boxing is scored by rounds. Fury won many more than Wlad, likewise Joshua over Parker.

    If Parker had won this fight, he'd be getting all the propers in the world from me. Being wrong isn't the end of the world.
