Just scene that Eddie Hearn is eyeing Povetkin v Whyte for June.

"Povetkin is mandatory for Anthony Joshua but Whyte wants to face him in june" says Hearn.

So once again a dangerous opponent has to go through Whyte for some reason according to Hearn.

Just get Wilder or Povetkin made.

Povetkin should probably stay away from Joshua. As much as I'm a big fan of Povetkin, I think it is a gruesome mismatch against him in all honesty.

Povetkin just had issues with David Price

I dont think joshua will be quaking in his boots

Dillian Whyte is a top 10 maybe even top 5 heavyweight right now and is #1 WBC.

Hearn is Whytes promoter he wants to get him big fights what do you expect him to do?

I'd say Povetkin isn't doing so hot.

He's pretty old at this point.

He's going to hit the wall soon, if he hasn't already.

I must of missed those "issues" Povetkin had against Price, outside of being knocked back in the 3rd it was a totally dominant performance.

Also Povetkin is Joshua's mandatory, there is no reason to have to fight (and easily beat) Whyte.

Wilder allegedly has to fight Whyte before he gets AJ and now it seems the same with Povetkin.

Is Whyte AJ's bodyguard or something?

I think Povetkin is a big threat to AJ.

He can punch, take a punch & is considerably more potent than Parker.

Anyone who's a threat has to go through Whyte apparently.

Why should Povetkin who is the mandatory have to fight another top 10 opponent for his shot. Makes no sense from Povetkin’s side. He should fight shop worn Chisora instead.

This WWE-tier promoting from Hearn where he says “to get to AJ you have to get through Whyte first” is an embarrassment to boxing. What the **** is this all about. Legit WWE type crap.

June is too early,Povetkin just fought. Also who is Joshua going to fight if Povetkin and Whyte fight each other since Wilder is supposed to be fighting Whyte at the same time too lol ?

Very weird situation.AJ vs Parker rematch then ? Who wants to see that.

Joshua will fight Miller, Eddie Hearn has never wanted the Wilder fight, they’ve been talking about Miller for months.

Povetkin is WBA mandatory. There is no reason whatsoever for him to fight Whyte at this point. Why should everyone who has earned to fight Joshua test Whyte first? It seems that Whyte and Joshua are in it as a team. Whyte should have his own road. Hearn should try to get him someone from WBC top 10 like Martin or Kownacki. I doubt that Breazeale would want to take that fight. He could fight Wilder as voluntary defense.

If I were Whyte, I would take on the old dog Ortiz and finish him inside 5 or 6. He wants Wilder. Then fight and stop someone who gave Wilder huge problems. This will put pressure on Wilder.

Ehm wait,Povetkin is ranked #1 on WBA and Miller is #3 . Why would Joshua fight Miller instead Povetkin that is his mandatory and why would Whyte risk his #1 mando spot and high rankings overall while he can just wait for Joshua or Wilder fights instead ?

That Povetkin vs Whyte fight is too risky for both, however as Povetkin fan and not too impressed with Whye i think Povetkin can win decision or late K.O when Whyte gasses.

What was the point of Povetkin fighting on AJ`s undercard if he wont get to fight AJ next or anytime soon then ? Lets say its Miller first for Joshua then may be finally Wilder or whatever , are they waiting for Povetkin to get even older? AJ already avoided his mando Ortiz before.

I think Povetkin is too small for Joshua but he clearly would stick it on Joshua and has the power to knock him out. Eddie Hearn saw Povetkin tonight and the first thing he does post-fight is shove Whyte into the picture out of no where to shield Joshua.

Last week Hearn was calling out Wilder for Whyte. Now suddenly he is using Whyte as a shield for Povetkin. Such a weasel promoter lmfao. Whyte is too dumb to realise what’s going on.
