Yes Povetkin is certainly better than Parker, as for Ortiz I've gone on record saying that he was also unproven but he was avoided by Hearn and Joshua.

As for Wlad, he certainly wasn't beaten from pillar to post as you say. Not only was he inactive but he dropped, hurt and imo was winning the fight up until the stoppage.

Joshua showed his resilience in that fight and should be commended but facts are facts......not your fictional crap.

Fictional? So he hasn't unified belts? What nonsense are you going on about.

I seem to remember Wlad not knowing what day of the week it was when the fight was stopped.... You know the fight that Joshua won. Again facts.

Povetkin who was knocked on his hole and held up by the ropes by David fxxking Price, is better than Parker!!

Ortiz who outboxed Wilder but was hurt with any power shot landed, is better than Parker. Stop letting your bias and emotions judge boxers and fights. It makes you look stupid.

    Yes fictional.

Crawford is a 2 weight world champion....do you think he has beaten quality opposition? Are Indongo, Burns elite?

Everything is relative.....are you saying that although AJ has unified he has beaten "elite" opponents? The only "elite" opponent was Wlad....at 41....also inactive....he also nearly lost.....

As for Povetkin not once was he put down you must have been watching a different fight.

    Finally you are a clown.

I think Joshua won a title too early in his career. He still had a lot to learn when he beat Martin, and now that he's a champion, there's a lot of pressure on him to perform well in every fight. The Parker fight showed that he's still a work in progress.

I think that fighters these days are rushed into winning a title before they've fully grown as a fighter.

The ropes stopped Povetkin going down hence the standing count. Do you know anything about boxing?

Where have I stated that Joshua has fought elite fighters? I stated he has unified belts. Again he can only face who is relevant and in his path. Not bad for 21 fights. But your right he has obviously ducked Ortiz!! Just stop.

Actually it was ruled a knockdown against Povetkin because of the ropes weren’t there after Price had hit him. That’s why he got a standing 8 count.

Actually I never said he didn't receive a count, but was Povetkin actually put down physically?

You said he was and I quote "put down on his hole", so again I ask at what point was he physically dropped?

He did avoid Ortiz, I'm not saying he loses to him but Hearn signed him to sideline him at the time.

As for him being unified, yes he is that's great but calibre of opponents is more credible than belts.

I don't think Joshua is hyped, I think the arguments about him - for and against - is where the hype resides. People aren't making a case in his favour or to his detriment, they are justifying their POV in relation to those who take a different view. Internet forums polarise opinion and intensify hyperbole to the point where expressions of extreme perspectives are deemed necessary to counter a conflicting facsimile of reality. What actually happens in the ring just seems to be an inconvenient distraction.

And just replace AJ with Mayweather, GGG, Loma et al and you see the pattern.

For what it's worth my opinion is: AJ won last night in a fight closer than the scorecards suggested and showed himself to be a highly competent boxer who would have been a live dog in any era - neither a hype-job or 'the best boxer/puncher in history'. Parker was a very game but limited opponent.

The Joshua brand, however, is hyped. And I hate it with a passion...

Lol I don't watch DB Z. This screen name was made by my nephew but nice try. If you think Parker is a great fighter then maybe you should be watching DBZ. Or maybe get a life besides being offended males on TV who don't know you exist.

You probably laugh even more when you look down into your pants. But if yout think Parker is a world class fighter then maybe you shouldn't be watching boxing anymore. Parker got beat by Takam and got a gift win because he was fighting in his home country. Parker lost to fat butterball Andy Ruiz Jr and got a gift win becaues he was fighting in his country. Parker's other big win came against Hughie Fury in a extremly boring fight. So what has Parker done in his career? Absolutely nothing.

The ropes kept him up means it was a knockdown so yes knocked on his hole.

So Joshua who has had 21 fights has ducked Ortiz, Povetkin and Wilder. Therefore his unification is nonsense, is that correct? I think you would have a negative opinion no matter who he faces. Have a good day pal.
