No boxer shorter than 6 foot 4 inches would be favorite to beat modern super heavyweights

If you watch the film, particularly against JJ and think Williard is not skilled, then you only believe what you hear instead of what your eyes tell you.

You think Joshua had more skill than Willard? Really?

JJ beat the HELL outta Willard for 20 rounds until the Cuban sun beat him down.

Willard had defensive skill and quick feet for a big man. Look at how adept he was at avoiding JJ's very skillful and tricky and highly explosive maneuvers.

People here are obsessed with numbers.

Please go look at Usain Bolt's training routine. According to people here, he must be barbell back squatting until his spine is about to snap, but instead...no.

    https://bretcontreras.com/how-does-usain-bolt-train/

    Bolt is a special athlete.

JJ is a special athlete. Dempsey is a special athlete. Wilder is a special athlete. These are guys that exceed their limitations.

However, JJ and Dempsey are on another level in terms of skill but Wilder may get better. That's why the comparison to Baer is adept. Baer was seen is a guy that could literally kill someone with his right hand.

Did you not see this **** right here????

Oh look, there is body building Joshua the other time we seen him, back in the day.

10 seconds in, Baer Wilder's his 260 lb ass.

That's what I'm saying. Why do you not understand this? Weight is just an excuse...to a certain point of course.

But to suggest that JJ wouldn't be effective today is LAUGHABLE.

To suggest that Dempsey would destroy that guy we saw last night is LAUGHABLE.

    Is Joshua your hero?

Aprils fools was earlier in the day. Wilder would get completely schooled by Usyk lol

There's a reason why he wants to move up to heavyweight too.

You were OK until you mentioned Jack Dempsey . He would never beat Joshua because of his own fear of losing to a black fighter. He would never and has never done that his entire career.

So why didn't he start off his pro career at heavyweight then? Why is he still milking and chickening out cruiser weight?

Tyson Fury will seriously publicly humiliate Usyk and slaughter him like an animal. It'd be a disgusting mismatch just like how Povetkin vs Joshua would be a disgusting mismatch against Povetkin where he gets slaughtered into multiple pieces.

Baer knocks Joshua out too. Does Joshua look more skilled than Carnera?

Man, y'all got it twisted with weights. Punchers are born, just like in any sport. All weights do is make the punchers more effective.

The same guys knocking people out would have been knocking people out today. Does anyone watch Joshua and see a supremely talented gold medalist champion? I see a big stiff that's less skilled than guys from the past.

I don't know what people are watching. How many punches does Joshua have 3 or 4?

Okay, he has one more punch than Klitschko. I'll give him that. Klitschko did manage to uppercut himself in the face.

For legacy.. he's breaking records bro. If he beats Gassiev he's probably the greatest Cruiserweight ever.

He's definitely moving up after that fight don't worry. I disagree with everything your saying ( part of me thinks you might be trolling lol) but agree to disagree!

Look, I don't know about all that. All I know is what I see. Joshua is not that good. I think Primo Carnera is more skilled.

    Watch him against Baer.

Joshua is a bodybuilder. There aren't that many boxers at that high level, except for the guys Wilder already beat.

If JJ was reborn today he would dominate the heavyweight division and you would see a sub 6'4'' sub 220 dude dominate. He would knock Joshua out in one round.

Usyk is all hype without any showing for his hype. Let us know when he first does something at heavyweight, rather than him hiding in a different weight division before we start rating him as a heavyweight.

So why don't boxers like Joe Louis exist today anymore? Did they magically just dissappear?

He already did in WSB. That's what gives me the confidence he'll be successful.

WSB isn't the same as the pros. WSB is full of a bunch of boxers who aren't at the top of their games like Fury, Joshua and Wilder are / were.

Boxing used to be the most popular sport in America. Also people hated one another.

People still hate one another, but we are ascared with exception of a few gladiators like Wilder who is actually undersized, but only tall.

Before people were arguing there is no way a guy of Wilder's weight could be competitive.

They will change their argument again when a smaller dude rises to the occasion once again. It's about the person, not about the training techniques. The same guys would be the best. Punchers are born. They would become stronger with modern training techniques, but they would be the same people.

I've heard this argument time and time again, but you act like big people never existed. I showed examples in this thread of guys that had a better gas tank than even Wlad, and had more moves and more punches, yet were the same size, but smaller guys dominated them.

Same thing today. Joshua's damn arms are about as big as some people's legs. Do you think he can sustain anything more than a few jabs?

He is predictable. Speed and conditioning are what matters. Power is something that is born in you.
