The original manager had both Zarate and Zamora under contact. The manager gets crosswise with Zamora's dad, and lets Zamora go. Both Z-boys get ABC titles. The Fans want a showdown Title Unification fight, but the ABC's won't let that happen, so a 10 round non-title fight is arranged in LA. The 2 fighters brawl for several rounds, with Zarate stopping Zamora in the fight. The Dad and the ex-Zamora mgr duke it out "post-fight" near or in the ring.

Patterson and Johansson were well known friends after the fights.

 

I believe Ali liked Frazier, but Joe couldn't forgive. I think it was in the documentary "When We Were Kings", it's clear that even just before his death in his own gym, Joe still felt it and felt it badly, even his son says so. Ali tried to make amends for years but Joe just wouldn't have it.

 

Patterson stated that Ingo pre-fight #2, was the only fighter he really wanted to "hurt bad" going into the fight.

Floyd was tee-totally p.o.'ed regarding what Ingo had said after Fight #1.

 

There was certainly some bad blood between them during their fighting days, that's for sure.

Yeah, that also led to bad blood between Louis and Johnson.
