Povetkin better all around fighter. Dokes was on drugs and should not have been fighting top fighters anymore.
Povetkin maintains his guard and outboxes and outworks Ruddock who was fairly one dimensional. He may have some moments but was not a good finisher so even if he hurts Povetkin I expect Pov to survive and regroup.

I expect pov to cover up well here .Ruddock would be his usual power shots self but Alexander to keeps it tight and avoids anything serious to hurt him. Ruddock would be up on. Points on sheer aggression. But pov steps it up a notch and starts to nail Ruddock .A late flurry from pov drops Razor ,he jumps up quickly but is dropped again .Fatigue has got the man and it's all over.
Povetkin by 11 round ko .

Who are you quoting? Why italics?

    Povetkin would take Ruddock out.

Povetkin takes him. Povetkin is by far the more complete package

Povetkin is was better technically but that Smash punch up the middle could do him some serious harm. I don't think Vetkin was better than Tyson in 1991.

Neither was Morrison, but he laid out Ruddock and Tillis in pretty devastating fashion.

Povetkin more often than not, but ruddocks smash was no joke. Povetkin being a crouching swarmer who likes to bring the action could play into ruddocks hands style wise (uppercuts). Ruddocks jab would also be a factor if he didnt forgrt to use it. I dont see it becoming a slug fest, i think it would become a battle for control of the pace and range, i hit you, you hit me, tactical battle.

Tillis and Roddock were 3rd rate impersonators of themselves at that stage.

I haven't seen Povetkin fight any SHW who could fight on the inside so who knows how he would do against Razor. All i know is Tyson still was very good at that point - still had the speed and head movement.
Povetkin wasn't as good ,fast , powerful or defensively sound as that version of Tyson.

Both Tyson and Razor battered the primes out of each other.

Anybody else who thinks im a moron should listen to what James Ali Bashir had to say about the Tyson and Ruddock fights. Bear in mind this man has more boxing knowledge than this whole forum combined. When exactly did this place start attracting so many easily offended beta boy losers like this Stung from a Bean guy
