Some people saying Tua is a poor man's Parker, but I think he would've done better than what Parker did. I could see Tua landing his trademark left hook on AJ which would put him in trouble, like the Whyte left hook.

Joshua by wide decision in a somewhat boring fight.

Tua and Parker aren't similar at all. I don't understand this comparison beyond the fact that they're both Samoan, which is about as meaningful as comparing Joshua to Samuel Peter.

Fact is Tua always struggled against taller fighters with good (not even great) jabs, and if you neutralised his left hook he more or less became a walking punchbag. He wouldn't be able to close distance with Joshua or land anything of consequence outside of his lunging left hook, which is not a punch he could consistently throw, and if Joshua can read his rhythm that gives him very little options at all.

Joshua by wide, wide points decision (since Tua was virtually impossible to knock out).

Tua has only one chance, Joshua abandons all sense and goes for the KO and get caught coming in. But I can't see someone as calculating as Joshua doing such a crazy thing, that's something Wilder might do. Joshua wins a clear UD.

AJ UD and I like the Tuaman more than Joshua.

AJ seems like a great talent, beats prime Ike too.

Lol Tua struggled with Lewis one taller fighter in his prime who was way better than Joshua would ever be. Tua knocked out Oleg Maskaev who was 6'3, Nate Tubbs 6'3 1/2, Obed Sullivan, Danell Nichols 6'4. Well Tua didn't fight many tall guys in his career. So I don't know where you got he struggled against them. Joshua is slower on his feet than Lewis, less skilled, had worse stamina, and I would even say less one punch power. Carlos Takam a slower, weaker, far less puncher than Tua was about to go 12 with Joshua. Joseph Parker a slower, weaker, much weaker puncher than Tua put up a good fight against AJ and hurt him as well. Tua at 220 pounds was extremely quick with his hands and could walk through anything AJ dished out. I see Tua laying out Joshua in a few rounds like he did John Ruiz.

You AJ fans are so damn delusional.

AJ UD. But give Tua about a 30-40% chance of catching him at some point

Tua catches him somewhere before the 7th round and finishes him. Tua was a very good finisher and Joshua doesn’t have the jab or range control Lewis did.

Could Tua have done a "Ruiz" on AJ? Sure. But maybe less than 50% chance....

Tua would have stopped that Anthony Joshua in under 2 minutes. Maybe under one minute.
