How do we see this one going?

Both fighters have said yes so should be next up

    I think it’s a great fight!

    Povetkin by ko mid rounds

I think stylistically it’s a bad fight for Whyte. Povetkin has a great chin tbh and I think Whyte would struggle to avoid getting hit for 12 rounds. Povetkin is lethal and even at 38 is more athletic than Whyte.

I give Whyte major respect for wanting the fight but he is very naive. He’s WBC mandatory he shouldn’t be taking a risk like this. It’s also pathetic from Eddie using Whyte as a shield for Juicesha again.

I would say Povetkin wins via late stoppage.

Whyte is a decent boxer and I wouldnt want to bet against him.
I wonder if it could be at the right time for Whyte?
Povetkin is more experienced but I think Whyte is hungry, fearless and can pull it off if he gets the opportunity

Povetkin is class. You can see the amateur pedigree in his style, great movement, gets on the inside so easily and musters plenty of power in them shots. Respect to Whyte in his last performance but Povetkin is a couple of levels up in skill. Fair play to him for wanting the fight, like @CutThroatFade says, it makes no sense, he’s mandatory, yet so is Povetkin. Which makes me think they’ll be getting paid great money to step aside so Wilder can fight AJ.

Whyte beats him, Povetkin is ready for the taking, he was badly gassed last night and was lucky he caught Pricey when he did to be honest.

    Whyte.

Povetkin was gasping for air last night after 2-3 rounds.

He isnt the same fighter without all his drugs, hes now back to the guy who had life and death with Huck.

Whyte can beat him eaay he just needs to not throw any of those really silly looping punches that he always misses with

Reckon everyone will struggle with povetkin if your not one of the super heavys. Hits pretty hard. Hands still pretty fast for a 38 year old.

Just wondering if price won last night if he would have been mandatory for Joshua. Wouldn't have liked to see that.

Povetkin brutally stops Whyte in 6 to 8.

Totally different level to Whyte and even at 38 he's lightyears better at everything.

    Povetkin in the WBA/WBO mandatory

Whyte is the WBC number 1

AJ/Hearn/Wilder won't be able to avoid Povetkin then.

    LOL

You do know that Whyte is a drug cheat to, also he arguably lost to Chisora, Duhaupas handled Helenius much better and all in the end he's not very good.

Whyte took an over the counter suppliment.

Im pretty sure whyte is better than Huck and povetkin went through hell with him

And Povetkin got stung for melodium or what ever it's called and that to is an over the counter supplement.

Also Huck was about 7 years ago, Chisora was last year and Whyte got a gift and Povetkin is light years above Chisora.

Povetkin looked a shadow of his old self the other night but still think he takes Whyte deep and then stops him.

Age and a lack of PED's for Povetkin makes me think Whyte can win this but he has to be at the absolute top of his game, even an aging non juiced up Povetkin is dangerous.

What about Povetkin facing a non juiced up Whyte?
