What is my agenda? I state the facts that Golovkin's resume is filled with bums, cans, journeymen, fringe contenders, and overall mediocre opposition. His fans hype guys like Stevens, and Lemieux up to try and give him credibility. Prior to Jacobs and Canelo, he had the worse reign in recent middleweight memory in terms of the low quality opposition he faced. As far as Lara, Golovkin would beat his arse. I don't disagree. Still, Lara said he wanted it, why not make that fight when Lara was talking? Lara would have been his best opponent at that time. And yeah I know Pirog's back wasn't Golovkin's fault. It just saved Golovkin from taking that L.

 

Lara made no efforts to get a fight... GTFOH...

All the Golovkin bum boys have waxed lyrical for donkeys years about how this guy is one of the greatest MWs ever who'd crush the likes of Hopkinks , Hagler Robinson etc with ease... yet when real fights are available against good to decent opposition they claim they are too hard for him.

Anybody who is against him taking on Rameriz for the chance to win a title in a second division is nothing but mickey mouse fanboy whose afraid their guy might be involved in a risky fight. Risky fights / competitive fights is what the sport is all about.

Jones Jr went from MW straight into a fight at SMW against James Toney ffs... Hopkins went from Taylor at MW straight into a fight with Taver at Light Heavy Weight

So Golovkin went from being the most avoided fighter and had no options but to fight bums...

to having multiple quality options...

yet one thing didn't' change, the quality of his opponent.

Alvarez had an option to fight Golovkin in 2016, he vacated his WBC title and fought a bum (Liam Smith) instead.
