He's a million times sharper and more skilled than Deontay, plus he has an iron jaw. Wilder will barely land a right due to lack of skill, if he magically does JP will take it.

He was getting out boxed by Szpilka and Washington, Parker will school him.

    yep
parker shoul win this by decision
much more skilled, too fast, too slick, too sharp, moves well (nightmare for beyonce windmill)
prob not in the US where wilder can do what he wants and still getting round for round (like vs Ortiz)
but at any other part of the world Parker should get an UD

I think parker wins also.. and his hand speed could make deontay look terrible at times.. I think parker is a terrible matchup for wilder lol

I kind of think that Parker could beat Wilder. He fought with Joshua to a pretty much stand still between the two, forcing Joshua to go a boring close UD route by the jab. And Parker is slick. His defence was extremely impressive vs Joshua. Like it was very subtle things, like always being in position to avoid that right hand, how he shut down Joshua’s uppercuts every time by moving his head to the right and getting his arm in position. I think I really under rated his defencive capabilities. He just needs to work on both counter punching and more effective offence. And he needs to change his mindset. I feel he’s often too tentative. A new trainer would do him wonders imo. His skills are there. He proved that. He just needs to bring them all together.

wilder is taller/longer and slightly faster than joshua

if wilder kept it long i think parker would have trouble landing clean

he could not get his combos off v joshua and could not land his lead right hand power shot

its hard to analyse as what parker will show up

i thought i new what parker was going to show up saturday
yet i saw another style of fighter

fighting on the backfoot / rather passive v wilder in america ?

dont know /parker needs to mix the 2 up
good defensivlley like he was v joshua / taking away joshuas right hand power with head/body and footspeed
while getting inside and letting rip with combos in his normal style.

wilder is wilder / he has what we all see /genuine power but poorish technique / but he is effective and gets the job done.
dont know i will sit on the fence/ parker never got hit with joshua full power shots so i still dont know if his beard is as good as advertised

also dont know if wilder could pin down and take out a saftey first parker

My money would be on Wilder. I hear what you are saying, but think Wilder would find a way and can anyone take Wilders best on the chin.
I would hope for Parker by KO. But can't see it.

Hopefully they will fight one day and we will have an answer. I'd put it 60/40 in favor of Wilder.

There's no fake, rumored or suspected chins with Joseph Parker. We saw that saturday night, he wasnt even rocked from any of the big punches AJ landed. If wilder can't knock him out, then how does he win? This fight is just as bad a matchup for Wilder as Joshua is for Wilder. Yes he doesn't have the height or reach that Joshua or Wilder have, but that chin will give him confidence to come forward like Ortiz did in the 7th and other rounds. I think Parker knocks Wilder down, we've seen now that Wilder is absolute garbage under pressure. Parker is as aggressive as they get, he's a nightmare and a half for wilder.

How does anyone know Parker has an iron jaw when Joshua didn't land his right hand on him? Hughie is feather fisted and Ruiz is a fat bloke with short arms who has no big ko win I can see unless you think a 46 y/o Ray Austin is a scalp . Takam is not a huge puncher either.

    that is parkers normal style

v fury he just walked forward throwing bombs

but what you described is not the parker style that fought on saturday.
its why its hard from now on to anylyse parker fight v a puncher.

and wilder most definatley is a puncher.

He was offered Wilder, took Joshua instead (which is understandable given that it’s more money ... but if his team thinks he would beat Wilder then he took the short money rather than playing the long game for a bigger unification if he had two belts).

not comparable. He made 10 million vs Joshua (£ not $).. would have made about 1 vs Wilder, 2 max.

If such fight gets to the scorecards then its Wilder controversial decision in USA and Parker controversial in New Zealand. So its hard to say really.

Other than that if Wilder gets behind and goes for broke he might K.O Parker late when Parker gasses.Other way around i cant see Parker knocking out Wilder,he is too cautious-fighting on the back foot and cant land combos on such tall, rangy and fast guy.And 1 punch K.O isnt enough,Wilder took barrage of punches from Ortiz already.
