Young Christopher is a warrior and true to the Warrior’s Code no doubt he’d step in a steal the show but I think the cut eye would be an issue. I doubt he’s sparred since the Groves fight. Also can’t see Team Golovkin taking this risk on short notice, that’s why they seem hell bent on Eubank’s leftovers in Spike.

He has to try something or he is going to end up on the under card in the village hall

I'm surprised he hasn't piped up; everyone else has.

Shame this enthusiasm to fight him wasn't there 4-5 years ago

Golovkin would savage both him or Saunders with ease. As bill said previously, he could beat the two on the same night. Get the pair of pricks in the ring .

I'm not sure he savages Saunders easily anymore. He still wins but it's closer than before. Evidence suggests Saunders can fight for 12 rounds now and Golovkin has slowed. Saunders' style is difficult for someone who can't move like they used to. That said, Saunders still gets stopped.

That was true 4 years ago when he said it, and GGG was unstoppable. I seriously believe Saunders beats him now. Whilst GGG is a ATG, he’s now on the decline. Still one of the best mind, but he’s past his peak now whilst BJS hasn’t even hit his.

I just can’t see GGG stopping him mate. GGG isn’t going to nail Saunders with one shot, he’s an accumulation puncher & Saunders has a top defence. You might land once but not twice or three times in succession. GGG has a great ring IQ and closes the ring off so well but Saunders could find space in a single bed with Gemma Collins asleep in it.

The difference for me is that he still hasn't been made to work properly for 12 rounds since this newer version has turned up. He has visibly improved but we need to see at what level. If you can move, you'll beat Lemieux. N'Dam did well enough himself, just happened to hit the deck every time he got touched. He certainly wouldn't stop Saunders with one shot, but it takes just the one to buzz a fighter and for them to freeze up briefly. I'm not sure I've seen Saunders properly buzzed (when he hasn't been totally blowing out of his arse, that is); some guys react properly and tie up (Floyd), some just freeze (Price) and some choose to trade (Khan). For me, depending on who he becomes when hurt answers the question of it going the distance.

Only time i’ve seen him properly buzzed was a couple of times against Ryder, and he tied up both times...he was blowing out of his backside though as you say haha.

Forgot about that actually but yeah, he certainly wasn't in the same shape. Hopefully we will see but I'm not hopeful. Doubt they cancel the Murray fight completely and Warren said the fight won't happen if Saunders isn't at 100%

Totally unrelated but it's time for my occasional reminder that there's a dude on Twitter who has Adonis Stevenson as P4P #1. He also claims the winner of Hurd-Lara could take top spot. They walk among us.

Jr wouldn't fight Golovkin and I don't blame him, he has problems, he needs to sort his camp out and most importantly himself.

If Groves dropped him, hurt him and made him look like an amateur for most of that fight then I dread to think what Golovkin does to him.
