It's ok, I make tragically bad mistakes on here and in real life constantly.

How's life been Suzie? Why the long sojourn lately...?

In Perez's case he was fighting some exceptional punchers as he moved up, to be fair to him.

In my opinion Espinosa is one of the most underappreciated punchers of the modern era of boxing despite his average knockout ratio... His countering ability, and the tremendous spite and venom he would put into his counter punchers was exceptional. He caught fighters exactly at the right moment. He somewhat reminds me of latter career Hasegawa, in what he could achieve with his accuracy and placement as opposed to his raw power.

You've got to remember the way Espinosa violently knocked out Alejandro Gonzalez, smashing his face bloody with one punch and laying him out prone and helpless on the bottom rope. Remember the dozens upon dozens of clean punches the seemingly granite chinned Gonzalez took from the on the cusp of superstardom Kevin Kelley, a damned good puncher in his own right? And then there's the way he laid out the previously sturdy Perez, his early blow out of McKinney after, again, KcKinney had showed himself capable of absorbing tremendous punishment from Barrera, one of the supposed best fighters in the world. But then Espinosa just dusts off all these guys in a few rounds combined and completely outclasses the elites.

    Nice post

Espinosa was very good but he himself had a weak chin.

Agreed. That was Duva's best thinking. Run away from Chavez at '40 because he "cant" make the weight. They were hoping it would make give Taylor some confidence.
