    just been watching Monzon beat brisco in there rematch he beat and handled the brilliant pressure of brisco without to many problems

    Monzon was great at leaning out of the range of punches and fighting off the back foot...but no one knew that until Briscoe ll.
    George Foreman was of course a specialist in handling come forward pressure fighters.

    Pea!!!!
    The Bull would think that. Sweet Pea was retreating but in reality he was using a tight circle. Creating angles . Sweet Pea had the game to frustrate a pressure fighter and when he was hit he took a good shot. Also Whitaker was strongner than perceived. Can't think of anyone better.

    He's up there but remember Floyd struggled badly with Castillo and Maidana so he's not the best example. I'd pick Duran over Floyd because he could outslick and beat the **** out of anybody who came at him. Duran would have slaughtered Castillo and Maidana. There's not many better examples than prime Duran for someone who thrived against come forward pressure.

    I know Hearns beat down of Duran will get mentioned now lol

    Duran could pick an opponent apart in a brawl like no other. Also George Foreman, it was suicide to walk in to his punches.

    Tiger is maybe the most unbeatable I've seen in a straight up fight. Immense physical strength, top-level infighting ability, defensively adept, fast accurate heavy hands, top counterpunching ability, high workrate/stamina and a granite mandible. Just chewed up and spat out some excellent pressure fighters.
