I'm extremely happy that Holloway wasn't cleared though. That's the one silver lining this week. Featherweight is a stacked division and there are several good fights for him to take(apart from Ortega who will be his next opponent) before considering a super fight period with the LW champion. Bring on Ortega. That's a cracking fight right there.

 

More like the RDA effect in this instance lol. But since you've mentioned this several times already I'm every bit as much of an Alvarez supporter as you and think he's easily a top 5 LW of all time. (UFC, Bellator, Dream champion) hard to top that. Of course the show must go on... But this just once again highlights how inept and ill prepared the UFC have become. I think it's time to have standby replacements for big fights, especially when the participants are so injury prone.
