To answer the thread. Tarver was probably around 190 lbs in the ring, was tall and had a big punch. 30 lbs and 4+ inches in height. That's a lot to get through. Can't see Marvin rolling him over like he did Hearns. Tarver takes this.

Tommy Hearns, first boxer in history to win world titles in four weight divisions: welterweight (147), light middleweight (154), middleweight (160), and light heavyweight (175). By later winning a super middleweight title (168), he also became the first to win world titles in five weight divisions. Why research is important.

Why research is important? Lmao i hope you are joking... He fought at cruiser too... So what? He could fight at 300 pounds too and it does not mean that was his natural weight... Tarver was bigger than hearns, stop debating the reality

Well from everything you've said you don't actually disagree with me so there's nothing to end.

In May 1998 Jones was 22-1-1 never fighting above LMW. Hopkins was 34-2-1 and was a MW champ never weighing below MW.

In May 1998 do you think you would have considered Jones to be bigger than Hopkins?

Jones is a 6'4 guy he was slim but still had bigger frame than hopkins, for example at 217 Pounds foreman was bigger than 220 tyson.
Jones could carry 190 pounds perfectly and it would be impossible for hopkins.

But in May 1998 would you have said that Jones was bigger than Hopkins despite never having been in a weight class as high as Hopkins?

Yes maybe, because a big guy is a big guy even if he is drained .

So tell me a pair of fighters today, one who's always competed in a higher weight class but is the smaller man.

The way I see it, bigger is a variable that changes with time.

You just need to learn how to read mate. All I have said is Tarver will have a 15 pound weight advantage and will be bigger. I assume you agree with that therefore there is no need for your vitriol or anger.
