Maxed out Blissy >>> all. Snorlax is definitely the best of the original 150 though.

Tauros has a really nice stat distribution, you're right. Tough. Always so hard to catch though! They hardly handed you one of those things in Red/Blue or Gold/Silver..... But still so limited but the normal type move pool!

Lol at being tipsy on a boxing forum at 3 in the afternoon talking about my childhood Pokemon exploits with fellow boxing fans... Love ya, Max.

He is a pretty fun fighter and a fight between him and Charlo would make a more compelling match up than Lara vs Charlo.

Depends if you run into someone smart enough not to try and break through Blissy physically. Set up stealth rock or toxic spikes and just roar that ***** out of there.

But on a serious note, if you bred Blissy to have seismic toss and levelled her up she was a nightmare to deal with. Sheer rage inducing.

Oh right it was...I actually remember how me and my brother tried to collect all the 150 for the first time. He got 149 and Tauros was the final one. He never got it because they appeared so rarely and it felt impossible to catch :duh. Just had to start a new game in frustration.

Yeah I played through Crystal again very recently (Thanks Nintendo e-shop on the 3DS!) and I don't recall seeing a single one of those assholes... Even the mildly "rare" ones like Scyther and Pinsir are all over the place if you know where to look.... Tauros has been, since 1998 and multiple play throughs, completely MIA and presumed dead in action in all of my gameplay.

I also played Blue pretty recently, about 2-3 years ago, on my old Game Boy Color (which still works even though I dismantled it multiple times when I was a kid and I'm pretty sure one time one of the components fell off). I just gotta say that it was still very fun to play and not just in a nostalgic way, they just are pretty damn good games overall lol! Probably going to play them again soon and really catch 'em all and not only go through the League.

They're a ton of fun man, **** anyone that says otherwise. Those are solid, if a little grindy RPG's with great audio and visual design, with a killer hook to keep you coming back. They still hold up great despite being 20 year old handheld games that debuted on the original colorless Gameboy. Pretty remarkable honestly. I'm still an occasional fan (of the games, my interest doesn't go beyond that) and couldn't care less.

Pokemon is pretty reasonable with the pace. a lot of turn based JRPGS are way too grindy and do my head in. Getting to the end game 100+ hours in only to find that you didn't grind enough along the way.... Ugh.. I'm more a Western RPG guy(Morrowind, Fallout, Dragon age, KOTOR)

Fallout is my favorite series of all time, especially 1 and 2... Been playing the second on and off since it came out in 98... I've put more than a thousand hours into several different Morrowind play throughs (Had the original X-Box version with 5 minute loading times before I got it on the PC in like 2002)

Fury, does this remind you of Fallout 2 with the bloody mess and Jinxed perks at all...?
