Anybody know the fight night weights? Looked like Lara was fighting a Super middleweight in there.

He can move for 12 rounds, and will also get chased for 12 rounds. Charlo is going to have to fight fire with fire if he's going to out last Hurd.

Stop trying to drive a wedge between Pinoy and I, he's my loyal abused punching bag, he knows I love him, he just needs a smack upside the head once in a while.

Absurd size difference for sure. I know there wasn't there normal hydration clause at stake in this fight. Hurd was much bigger and younger than Lara. That made the difference..... Fair or otherwise.

Canelo would struggle. No doubt in my mind.

Well...Hurd was making a lot of contact to the body early, and was getting business done in close with the uppercut to the head. Plus, a lot of Lara's punches were bouncing off the guard or only making partial contact, especially as the fight wore on. Even if you count clean punching as the sole criteria, this fight was closely contested.

Fighter's faces being busted up at the end of the match doesn't mean they lost. FACT.

Nah i see charlo being prime more skilled who can punch and move who got better by sparring Spence his brother and lara. He will outbox and bust hurd up. The charlo twins aint no joke.

I hear you on that, those commentators were calling all those shots to the arms and gloves clean shots. That's why I hate them bums. Back in the day, shots like those wouldn't even get mention or they were called for what they were. Commentators now days feel as if they have to create some excitement and they do that by embellishing the truth. Sad thing.

He's definitely cut from the Punisher, Margarito kind of mold in a lot of ways.

I don't think he's going to have a long peak. Those kinds of fighters rarely do. But, when you come in with a size advantage, iron chin, high workrate, and conditioning fit for a 15 rounder, that's a night's work absolutely nobody is going to look forward to facing for as long as that peak lasts.

Sad indeed, I'd be shocked if Hurd landed 3 or 4 punches clean per round for the first 7.
