Apparently you missed OPs derogatory posts about Tyson and his love for foreman

Never been hit by either, so who's to say, but the one thing I do know is; in terms of functional power based results, Tyson poops on Morrison.

Tommy's left hook was devastating no doubt... One of the hardest left hooks in boxing history

I don't know, this tree made a bit more noise than when Tyson chopped it:

    As did this one:

I'll agree with alacrity that's pretty damn far from conclusive, by also pretty far from silent.

You're going to dig in then, are you? Cut and paste the passage to which you're alluding, and tell me with a straight face it actually corresponds to your paraphrase. Try it.

Well what standard are we using? For the naysayers what is the evidence to support the contrary?

    3 Common opponents say morrison

Morrisons ko % was slightly higher (81% vs tysons 76%).

So whats the criteria? Eye test? Quality of opposition? Well eye test shows they both had devastating effect on the opponent. As for opposition, tyson had plenty of bums on his record so thats a weird way to dismiss morrison.

Changing the subject to career/skill/etc is meaningless. Anyone with half a brain knows Tyson had a better career and was more skilled.

Some almost seem to be reacting to the proposition "Morrison is a better fighter than Tyson" rather than simply "Morrison hit harder than Tyson". Some people should know better, and I'm almost 100% certain they do know better.

I didn't know the thread was about who was better. I thought it was about who hit harder (Morrison obviously). Silly me!

I just checked boxrec and I see Tyson and Morrison had more common opponents than I thought. On balance their performance against common opposition is remarkably similar -although one would prefer more and better examples. What sticks out to me though is that Morrison went the "distance" in a fight scheduled for 6 against Lorenzo Canady, who did slightly less well against Tyson than I'd expect from a mannequin.

Morrison fought Tyson victims significantly later in their respective careers, when they fought Tyson they were either on top of their game or slightly declined but still had plenty of their gas tank left..........vs Morrison they were usually way past their expiration day...........Morrison Ruddock would have gotten waxed by Tyson within three rounds max.
