Warren buffett will be behind Wilder, his name was brought up multiple times in the past Way more money in the United States than Russia. Wilder has so many fans in the us. Huge fight and hype in the UK also.
Wilder finally gets his cash out fight. Good riddance to him, then we can get on to some serious fights.
You know what, as much as I want to see AJ smash Wilder all over the ring, I also want to see AJ take control and force Wilder to accept a bad split. He is the boss here, if Wilder wants to play money games, then so be it. Wilder will give in eventually. If AJ waits and waits, and the negotiations go on, then Wilder will be forced to accept the 75-25 split that he should rightfully get. For the first time in a long long time, the UK finally has the upper hand. No more nonsense, no more vegas, no reverse splits in the rematch. In fact, let Whyte fight Wilder in June, then go for the AJ fight.
Omfg you guys are so dillusional "Donald trump shall bankroll deontay and sail him to england on the uss enterprise"
If Wilder did indeed offer to take 40, and Hearn is now offering a counteroffer, I bet it’s going to be 33% offered to Wilder And given that Joshua has all the tiles but one, and is the big draw of the fight, that would be more than fair for Wilder;,33%
Yup 33% is more than fair, people will go on about oh well parker got this so blah blah blah Yes parker was overpaid but he got what he got doesnt mean wilder "should get more" Wilder will be lucky to get table scraps otherwise "warren buffet" can bankroll the fight and make AJ an offer.
IMO AJ has the biggest fanbase. Between the two they've beaten all relevant HWs. With that being said- IF AJ is the one making the offer, it leaves little wiggle room for DW. In my dreams, this will be a trilogy, fight one in Sep- Oct 2018!
This thread full of peasants and plebs living vicariously through another man. What is your split from the fight? 0? Weak. Wilder has a good team behind him and he'll be taken care of. The idea that AJ is involved in these deals is idiotic. All propaganda for this protectors and fanboys.
No they haven't. Wilder has beaten one relevant hw. Joshua has beaten two: a semi retired ex champion and a paper belt holder. I make that three relevant hw's between them. There is a case to add Whyte for Joshua but Whyte was not a relevant name in 2015.
Just curious, from a global standpoint, who would the world want to see either fight? Who is left in AJ's land isn't relevant in the states, vice versa. Not per hardcore fans.
Well it's clear people like Povetkin, Pulev and Miller are above the likes of Molina, Breazeale and Takam. Wilder ducked Povetkin over a bs ped test but was happy to fight faded bum Stiverne after a similar incident. Just don't tell me they have faced the best in the current division because they clearly haven't.
I guess from a boxing fan's perspective. And no major, I'm not speaking directly to you, just in general. Two undefeated fighters at this point facing fighters who have already been defeated proves what? Different perspective. I can't see what either has to gain (at) this point if they are calling each other out. What can be better than that?
You've seen the red on all bar one of Wilder's defences, right? Femi has faced two guys with their 0's intact.
