Is Povetkin's bad luck in getting title shot a result of him ducking Wlad for years?

A 38 year old Povetkin was on bambi legs after getting hit by a super heavyweight that is 6 foot 9 inches in height, 250+ pounds in weight and has a 70% KO record. Meanwhile, Evander Holyfield was obliterated and stopped by a blown up middleweight in James Toney. I know which one is worse!

Lennox Lewis avenged all his losses!

Chris Byrd drew against Andrew Golota. Andrew Golota was stopped by Tomasz Adamek. And Vitali Klitschko demolished Tomasz Adamek.

Chris Byrd was demolished by Wladimir Klitschko. Wladimir Klitschko was stopped by Ross Purity. And Vitali Klitschko demolished Ross Purity.

Andrzej Wawrzyk could very well be > Mike Tyson. Or at the very least, be one of Mike Tyson's toughest opponents.

And Shaun George never fought at heavyweight. So he can never be > Vitali Klitschko as a heavyweight. Maybe pound for pound though.

Second knockdown in the seventh round was also as legitimate as it could be. Wlad didn't hold Povetkin, didn't push him down, he knocked him down perfectly legitimately with short left hooks and right uppercuts.

That's all you had to say. You've now confirmed your status as a Ghoul. A Ghoul makes a troll look like an aristocrat.

Fair enough! Two knockdowns then. And he was still able to get back up and continue fighting until the distance. Against one of the most powerful punchers in boxing history with a significant size disadvantage. The same Wladimir Klitshcko totally pulverized the much bigger Kubrat Pulev with his left hooks. The same Waldimir Klitschko put Eddie Chambers into a state of unconsciousness for a few minutes with his left hook. The same Wladimir Klitschko demolished Alex Leapai with his punches.

Point is, there's no shame in getting dropped by Wladimir Klitschko. Especially after considering he's been able to do far worse against other opponents.

So what excuse does Mike Tyson have for losing to cherry picked bums and journeymen like Kevin McBride and Danny Williams? Why didn't Alexander Povetkin lose to David Price at the same age, the same David Price who is superior to both Kevin McBride and Danny Williams?

What excuse does Mike Tyson have for losing to a total journeyman like Buster Douglas in his prime?

Think about that for a second! If Mike Tyson was as good as you claim and think he is, he wouldn't have lost to those guys. Especially in the manner that he did.

it is obvious that the man losing serially to middlers before retirement was not the same as the man unifying the title out of high school.

Same way noone gives wald a hard time for losing serially when he was old. All men lose when they on the decline.

if this isnt obvious to you, there is no hope for you. Both tasks require completely different men.

Why wasn't Povetkin winning world titles at 20 years old?

And I'm sure Tyson never loses a wink of sleep over it.
