Hey, all the names you stated are solid.

I'm just looking at this thread title. I can't see either guy having a bigger challenge in the names you listed.

If AJ's people and DW's people are talking. There is no greater challenge and no better time than for these two.
    Just my take!:aplastao:

yeah, but I am a Povetkin fan so I think my guy is getting squeezed out again after Wilder already ducked him.

    ps
you should be careful with DW, folk might think you mean Dillian Whyte who is a matchroom guy.:dunno

Haymon has already decided for Wilder to fight Breazeale next as he owns Breazeale, Joshua has already easily knocked Breazeale out, so he qualifies. Wilder does not want to fight Joshua at any price!

Didn't you get the offer from Matchroom? We're all on a rev share per supportive post. The lower AJ screws Wilder the better our chances of walking away with a Ferrari each,

Joshua proponents are acting like he was some huge
money making machine, until the Wlad fight, Joshua and
    Wilder's purses had parity.

I think Wilder's team looking for 35-40% of the purse
is completely acceptable considering what J. Parker made.
Let's be honest, more people (boxng pundits, even the
general public) are showing quite a bit of interest in this fight.
    Far more than Joshua/Parker.

Oddly, Wilder is actually becoming semi-recognizable over here
in the US, I'm actually hearing people that don't talk about boxing
other than as casuals starting to talk about him. So everyone saying
that Wilder is a complete unknown, that's not really the case anymore.
Clearly he's not Joshua popular, but he's not an unknown.
If Hearn offers an absurd amount like 20% or a flat fee, Wilder's team should
completely reject that. Wilder has a little bit of bargaining power.

Beyond me why u ppl are so interested in %s, I mean ur getting a %s as well? Far more interesting is the where. While UK sounds logical, given the right promotion (which may take several long months), Vegas could do a FAR bigger gate. Wait, I'm talking $$$ as well, let's talk sport.

Judges and refs under BBBoC are often incompetent, so as a fight fan and not a purse fan, I'd sit most comfortably watching this at a neutral location, say some jive-ass Saudi prince buying it out for Jeddah or whatever oilhole, and the 3 judges and the ref selected from an independent panel full of the best international officials.

Honestly, I think he has very little in terms of bargaining power, and that’s why I can see the fight not happening. He brings a belt and a lot of risk, but not much money considering the size of the fight. In reality, Joshua vs Haye, should Haye come through Bellew, would likely generate just as much interest.

I can see the offer being closer to 30% with projected profits showing that being a ridiculously high figure. Pride might get in the way here.

So Joshua with far less fights and no world title was earning what World Champion Wilder was being paid.

If anything again that only shows how far ahead Joshua was as an attraction before the Wlad fight.

That's why the first fight would be in the UK with the rematch in the US. The first fight hopefully acts as an appetiser for a Vegas rematch and a US PPV jackpot. If Wilder had attended the Parker fight and been more amenable to taking on Whyte in the UK, AJ may have had his first US appearance against Miller and the US market could've been better primed.

The officials will be one British, one US and one neutral. They should agree a list of the top referees then choose one at random. As for the location, I've seen incompetence and occasional corruption in boxing administration across the globe.

Yeah I agree he has some power and although I wouldn't give 40 if I were AJ I think 35 is fair. It probably overpays him in terms of what he brings financially, but there's more to him than that. He'll be great at promoting the fight too.

I doubt Joshua v Wilder taking place in the UK will do good numbers in America as it will be at 5pm in the Afternoon. It will do similar numbers to Joshua/Klitschko,600-700K is that really a good number ? How wIll it act as a appetiser ? After the 1st Fight, one will lose it's undefeated record, the UNDISPUTED champion will have already been won, it loses it's Sparkle after the first match...What happens if it's a mauling or not close, why would their be a rematch, imagine if it turns out to be a BOREFest...Better if the first one takes place in Vegas
