Not half as much mileage on the clock as Degale has. Degale at the end imo, if he fights other belt holders I would make him firm underdog, leaning towards a KO loss finish. Jack was his last good stand

I think you are right. My opinion is he does need encouraging, I think if he was stronger in that way he would’ve left McDonnell a good while ago. You can see he goes a bit weird with his chat, like he’s not comfortable and can look silly sometimes. Another fighter he reminds me of in that area was Jnr Witter. Sometimes he would try and be clever and smart and it was’nt comfortable to watch

Ingle wouldn't take Degale he seems like he's difficult to work with and Billy Joe would definitely clash him at some point. Also believe it or not these gyms don't take an unlimited amount of people in....

I am talking purely pro career here not his amateur days but I don't think he was really ever that good. I thought he was a gun and he was good enough to win a belt. However he 'only' beat an inactive and 'past whatever best he ever had' Andre Dirrell, just. He fought well in a losing effort v Groves but now when I remember his past fights, a lot of those were real struggles, even against un-elite competition and always with the same issues during fights. He's been good value and I am still a fan. However I do think I was deceived into thinking he was quite a bit better than he actually was!

Its is like any other sport where there is a one to one with the athlete they both have to gel . This is not always easy and you can never say this boxer should go with this trainer

He should fight CEJ for a domestic payday.
