He deserves what the side which drives the vast majority of the revenue come up with.

Remember there is nothing stopping team Wilder staging the fight and making AJ an offer.

Actually there is, team Wilder don't have the money to do such a thing.

Whether you buy it or not makes no difference, your opinion is just that an opinion, doesn't mean it's right. Just like my opinion is just an opinion.

But facts are facts. Joshua has more leverage vs Wilder than he did vs Martin, you can choose to ignore that but it doesn't change the reality of it.

And even if we agree with your opinion why are you not demanding Wilder take the lions share of the purse like Martin did, it's the same situation according to you.

It's been 11 days since Joshua's last unification fight. It looks like he's done more in those 11 days to make the Wilder fight than Wilder will ever do (I'm not counting incoherent youtube videos)..

Find it amazing how Joshua is judged by completely different standards to everyone else. How on earth can he be criticised so soon after his last unification fight a few weeks ago.

It takes Wilder 2 years to fight his mandatory (and that's only when it's as absurd as B Stiverne). And let's not even talk about what Wilder has already done to try and unify since becoming world champ (which was January 2015 in case anybody has forgotten).

I don't think we need to worry.. Joshua will do what he keeps on doing - delivering big fights quicker than anyone else..

Eddie Hearn just replied to a tweet which said Martin got £6.5 mil and Parker got £13 mil.

Said cut parkers by 50% and its still too much
And Martin got nowhere near £6 mil

He was never in a mega fight before. Just like Charles Martin wasn't. Its a mega fight and probably the biggest in boxing because of Wilder , therefore his worth is his worth. He's contributing to this event and sharing the stage with Joshua for one night only , so he deserves a once in a life time type payday.
Telling him to accept low ball offers because of previous earning is an insult , a joke and is put out there to make him walk away.
Its not difficult to understand. Only an allegiance to one side will make you take one side over the other .

Wilder accepting what he's actually worth (25% or the equivalent flat fee) increases the likelihood of the fight happening.

How do you know he hasn't offered Wilder a massive payday?

No one said Martin got £6m on here. I said on the page before it was a £3.5m guarantee.

You can’t trust a word Eddie Hearn says anyway, he was totally exposed by Shirley Winkle.

Exactly. History shows AJ wants to unify and face his rivals in the division.

When has Wilder shown the same kind of desire to get all the belts? Never

None of us know what has been offered, I’m countering the idiotic Joshua fans who are trying to justify a lowball offer.

The original tweet this came from said that this fight's revenues could be up to $100M?!?!?

Where the hell did he get this figure from considering Wilder is not a PPV fighter?!?!?

Parker made $7M and Joshua made $15M which had PPV revenues from the UK and NZ (for Parker obviously).

The fight was also broadcast in all but 6 countries in the world so it's arguable that considering Wilder is not a PPV fighter, he should take this deal.

I'm sick of biased journalists, fans, managers, promoters of Wilder and Wilder himself winging.

Wilder's payday vs AJ is once in a lifetime. He doesn't make anywhere close to £10 mil fighting anyone else. For him it's AJ or nothing

Hearn done nothing but offer him a one- time , take it or leave it , flat fee offer. You must be another blinded matchroom loyalist who'd believe Hearn if he told you there's ice in the Sahara. . :risas3:

Wilder tried to do the most to make the fight happen and increase the revenue potential by asking for a face off in the ring.

It was Hearn and Joshua who categorically said Wilder cannot come into the ring. And then when Wilder announced he’s not coming, Hearn comes out with “of course he would have been allowed in the ring”. Pathetic.

That’s like me saying to someone “I’m not going to fight you”, and then when he walks away coming out with “of course I would have fought you”. So pathetic.

It's this imaginary place where people assume this fight is huge in America. This fight could do less than 350k ppv buys in the US quite easily
