Am I the only one who can’t stand joshua’s Dismissal of wilder. And more so naming off his alphabet titles in his post fight interview as if their isn’t a big elephant in the room. The big elephant is the fact he doesn’t hold either the lineal or the WBC title. He’s clearly trying to avoid the situation. In truth weather he likes it or not the title that matters most, especially when it comes to heavyweights is the wbc title due to the history of our great sport. Who remembers The WBO or IBF really? Joshua needs to make a legit offer and quit wishing this situation away. Thoughts?

Forgot to put this in there, I do Normally agree the man makes the title not the other way around but considering both of the champions are undefeated I think time will tell on who really is the man.

Nobody gives a **** about titles anymore, when I was a teenager in the early 90`s the three established and respected belts were the IBF, WBA (the oldest)and the WBC, the WBO hand`t found t`s feet yet with only lesser top 10 contenders fighting for it specifically British fighters like Benn and Eubank so I don`t know when this WBC thing came from! Who cares? If your the best then you`re the best he and Wilder have to cut the bull and fight each other because they are the two most dangerous fighters right now, Fury will have to beat a top 10 fighter to get back in the mix.

Both maybe undefeated world champions but one beat an ill Stiverne for their title the other beat Wlad, Parker and Martin for theirs. There is a clear difference. I mean I wouldn't rank Charr up their with them, saying he is a champion and say "Who can tell who the man really is.". We all know Charr is garbage, his belt means nothing.

Wilder can't be dismissed as you say, he has a punchers chance and maybe he can beat Joshua, he has as good a chance as any other active heavyweight at the moment. Doesn't mean he is on an equal footing with Joshua though. Joshua is pretty much universally seen as the number 1 heavyweight in the world right now, whether he has the WBC or linear belt or not.

WBC is a joke. That organisation is a disgusting, disgraceful, leech upon boxing. A terrible drunken joke and they have had an especially bad month.

Belts don't make the fighter, the fighter makes the belts!

Take a look at both careers so far and ask yourself if this thread is a real debate ? o_O

Wow dude i stopped reading when I saw you put Martin on Joshua’s unbelievable resume. Who he beat for the title again? Gimmi a break, wilder doesn’t have a great resume either but c’mon. And I agree that titles aren’t the end all be all and that was my point, Joshua keeps using the fact that he has all these belts but to be honest they don’t mean sh*t til he fights wilder and I would say the same about wilder. And the Klitschko win is overrated IMO. Between the two of them it’s the best name on their records but just a name. A ton of loses and stopped multiple times, in his 40’s coming off yet another loss. My issue is Joshua thinking he never needs to fight outside his back yard and that wilder brings nothing to the table.

So you didn’t read my second post which was an extension of the first but my point is again it’s not me using the belts as a reason it’s Joshua. That was my point.

I just read a thread that claims Joshua deserves 75-25 split because he has three belts to wilders one?? This is what I mean Joshua brags about how many titles he has and people believe the hype. I don’t get it, I think Joshua is a much better boxer too. No doubt about it, but in the heavyweight division power in Most cases is just as important as skills or experience that’s why the fight is so compelling.

I didn't have to read much BC the premise of this thread only newbs would agree with no matter what fighter you are trying to discredit.

Again belts are irrelevant... Its who has the actual resume of important wins and what was the result of them were!

Joshua's claim to actually collecting belts over shadows Wilders SOLE Stiverne win becoming champion doesn't it? Lol

If AJ gets the WBC, then he has a special place in history- where he can claim to be the Unified champ. Then those belts matter.

Question- when this fight gets made, is he putting up all the belts? or will a belt org or two deny him? Just curious.

Wilder fans claim he "doesn't need to fight Whyte"...It's an "Easy win".

Whyte is ranked number 1 by the WBC.

You can't have it both ways.....
