How is that a duck? Interested as to why you think that would be? I think Povetkin is a tougher fight for Joshua. Due to styles Joshua will be once again taking on the biggest challenges. Fair play
As with Salido and Uncle Bobby, he's not Eddie Hearn's employee. Come up with a percentage split and negotiate over it, simple as that.
Hearn knows Wilder and his team won't accept a deal that has AJ taking home with 100% of the PPV and live gate revenue. Its a ridiculous offer designed to make Wilder turn it down.
Why not? It is over 8 x what Wilders biggest pay day was if the figures are correct. Over 8 times his biggest pay day. Thats massive. I seem to recall something previously where I think both were to get PPV from their respective countries. I dont know if Wilder has been PPV. 8 times more than the biggest pay day. I cant see that being a low offer
Joshua has one more belt now than when he fought Parker, so Wilder deserves less. Joshua has done all the hard work fighting too guys. Wilder has fought top 50 guys for all but one fight.
There's principles involved. Stealing all the PPV and live gate money isn't how you conduct business.
Martin, 41yo inactive Wlad and a B level champion in Parker I wouldn't call "hard" work, but I agree he has done the unification process. However why does Wilder deserve less than Parker?
I am not a boxing promoter so I would like to hear/read what official promoters say, but do you not think 8 x more your best pay day if that is correct is not substantial? What % do you think wilder should be getting if he is not a PPV fighter?
But your answer makes no sense at all. Wilder has a better resume than Parker, he brings US exposure/TV and another belt.....what did Parker bring again?
Also consider that this fight is #1 vs #2 which means the Ring belt and lineage will be on the line since its currently vacant . Splits and percentages are the only way fights of this importance get made
