Another winner here..lol Wilder is getting just over 30% and about 17 million U.S converted dollars... The problem is you are getting your info on dumbed down you tube channels. Lol As stated Wilder walking away from a 2 fight deal says he doesn't want the fight . The guy believed a actual restraining order was filed by AJ so he must be dumb enough to think he's only getting 12% out of a100 Million dollar fight! Lol A HUNDRED Million?
I haven't got any information from a YouTube channel, where have you got your information from? The figure widely reported is $12.5M. Eddie is actually on camera previously stating that Wilder is crazy if he believes he is worth £7M in this fight, which is the equivalent to around $10M, so that'd make the number being reported more realistic than the one you're pushing. The two fight deal you're talking about doesn't happen unless Wilder wins the first fight, so that's hardly guaranteed income he's working with, so grow up and think logically about it. Your "I know everything and everyone else is wrong" attitude is particularly embarrassing when you're wrong by the way
If Wilder was so confident on victory and getting the rematch + another payday he would snap Hearn's hand off. Looks like he is not confident at all and is ducking.
Well thats the thing. If he knows he is the man then why not waltz in there take his belts then start earning the coin... It almost like people see AJ as their final cash out...
You could spin that on its head and say that Joshua isn't confident because he needs the clause but it's just the done thing in boxing now. People pad records, insert clauses and protect themselves, we have to get on with that fact. Wilder will never have a payday like this again and him expecting to get at least a reasonable cut of the money which he'll be playing a large part in generating is completely reasonable, not ducking. The ducking is done by the people who won't offer even that to him. I wouldn't even go as far as saying Wilder isn't ducking to be fair, he may well not want the fight either. But what I am saying is that this offer from Hearn is evidence of him ducking, not of Wilder
Yes he would but AJ would be getting an enormous amount more. Wilder deserves the same split as Parker at least. But there is a massive difference from PPV in New Zealand and the US. Again Lara did better numbers than AJ in the US.
The clock is ticking on whether Wilder is chickening out of another big money fight, that may never come again. Given the mandatories coming both Wilders and AJs way in the next year, Wilder needs to take this fight now. The money is extremely good- and he should be worrying about what he makes not what AJ makes.
Wilder hasn't been on PPV in the US so we have no idea if it would sell or not.. There is a reason why he hasn't been PPV already the TV guys are not stupid.. Least Parker had PPV form in Oceania.. It really could be argued that the only reason it would go PPV is because of AJ given Wilder hasn't before...
And I would agree but again promoted correct and it would sell. Wilder fights have been doing double than that of what AJ and Parker did.
We have to scrap previous earnings, we have to forget about what Joshua is bringing to the table and what Wilder brings to the table cuz if we base what these 2 deserve on facts and history Wilder is already getting overpaid with 12 million but that is not guna make the fight happen. Wilder will have to be overpaid just like every Joshua opponant. Given the uncertainty of the American market a split is much fairer than a flat fee cuz this may blow up in America and it could generate alot more than Wilder usually does but Joshua shouldnt give up too much of a split based on a maybe but they are guna have to do better than 20-30%. Fair or unfair, deserving or undeserving that is what is guna get this fight made.
Why should Cashua collect 4 times what Deontay makes tho? I'd dig it if he was just a contender but he's bringing the wbc strap which altho a bit tarnished by Wilder's opponents was the strap of Vits, Lewis, Tyson, Ali, Frazier and Holmes. It is the premium belt historically. I'd say 2:3 is the fairest split.
