Cant say I disagree but to add it is a bigger fight as Joshua has now brought more to the table again by winning yet another belt against Parker. It is a bigger fight because Joshua has made it a bigger fight far more so than Wilder

Yes, I've been wondering about the US PPV myself.

At this stage, we're all pretty much in the dark.

Personally, I think they'll want a percentage of everything. And whatever that percentage ends up being, I'm absolutely certain that it will surpass the figure than Hearn has supposedly offered.

Look at it this way.. If the fight was in Vegas and Shelly told Hearn that Wilder would keep all the US PPV and live gate revenue , while Hearn can keep all the UK PPV revenue ... Do you think Hearn would accept that??

Do you not think there is more for Wilder to crave?
You seem to apply that for Wilder he may just feel its about one big pay day and not his legacy, where he can collect 3 belts off the back of someone elses harder work

Theoretically, yes. But realistically, Joshua would never drop all of the belts. They are prestigious to him and he craves to be the 'Man' of the division.

For my money the pot should be split 2/3 1/3. Wilder may not have had big paydays but he is the biggest fight Joshua can make right now.

let me shine some reality on you...

This is Wilders future without Joshua

    1. Breazeale. A guy who Joshua defeated in his 16th fight.

    2. Whyte. A guy who Joshua defeated in his 15th fight.

    3. Prince Martin. A The guy he won the BIG from .The guy everyone ridiculed as a bum.

    4. Adam Kownacki . A 17 fight prospect who people will scratch there heads at.

    5. Lucas Browne. ??????

    6. Carlos Takam. Another guy Joshua just defeated.

These are some of the top guys in the WBC...lol

Are you really telling me that I don't know the business bc SHELLY deems it smart not to take a 2 fight deal worth no less than 25 million? :duh

Surely you can do better than such an empty post like that.....when SHELLY knows the fight could generate at least 40 Million if his fighter wins...just stop..lol . The fight won't be made until 2020 if they don't make a deal now..... :eatingburger

    True.

It's highly unlikely, but you never know.

No of course he won't, you're 100% right on that one! If AJ was more about the business side like Mayweather was though, this is EXACTLY what he'd do and any leverage Wilder had (which was marginal at best) would be completely lost.

At the end of the day I don't really care what each guy gets, I just want to see the fight, but I'm under no illusion this is a business first decision.

At this stage, it's nothing more than an opening negotiation tactic.

The fight will generate millions in revenue.

Other than a Fury fight, Anthony can't fight anybody else for as much money.

Although the supposed offer is considerably more than what Wilder has earnt in the past, even a small percentage of the overall revenue would likely surpass the flat fee.

    It's just business.

These guys are going to fight over everything down to the merchandise.

guys, surely you can understand this is the opening offer, you are arguing about an opennig offer and some of you think you know business?

its for Wilder to counter offer, if he accepts the first offer, wilder and his team are idiots.

hearn/joshuas team is not low balling, he is offering wilder much more than he has earned before. wilders management and team now need to counter argue and offer. Probably going to touch on some points that you guys have come up with. i.e ppv and gate revenue and purse etc.

realistically. hearn and Joshua's team know wilder is not goig to accept this offer.

Its called BUSINESS! its how the big fights are negotiated.

Yes, Joshua has made the fight bigger by beating Wlad and Parker. And that should be reflected in the contract. And it can be, without there being a flat fee.

I genuinely believe that he wants the fight. And I think we'll see it later this year.

This is the very definition of an empty post.

Instead of getting emotional, just relax.

    It will happen.

Finkle not immediately accepting Hearn's supposed flat fee offer does not mean they don't want the fight.

    It's the art of negotiation.

Joshua desperately wants to fight Wilder, and Finkle is going to use that to his advantage.

    It's all very simple.

What will Joshua's future look like without Wilder?

    He's beaten Wlad who's retired.

    He's beaten Whyte.

He's just beaten Parker in a dull fight that wouldn't sell again.

    Bellew wouldn't fight him.

Haye looks to be finished, but we'll find out soon.

Fury is still out, and he'd need at least 2 opponents to try and get back to where he was in 2015, if it's even possible.

Sure, Joshua can make money. But there's not much out there for him either, and he's already itching for this fight. The longer this runs, the more frustrated he'll become, and the more pressure he'll put on Hearn to secure him the fight.
