    For the record, I'm fully expecting a violent yet drawn out stoppage here, a la Rosado. Golovkin's power is still present when his opponent is there to be hit, and Vanes while his defense is a little underrated is pretty much there to be hit.

    Golovkin has been MW champion for EIGHT years.
    He ONLY has two good names on his resume.
    Golovkin and his fans have claimed MULTIPLE times that he is avoided.
    Lara, Trout, Ward, Ramirez, Charlo, Saunders, Jacobs, Andrade have called him out.
    A few of those names could be available for May 5th and/or at the very latest June.

    Vanes has never fought at MW, has been inactive for 2 years, has lost every single time he's stepped up.

    That's the problem.

    He had 4 weeks to find a good opponent though and better guys have offered their services but got ignored.

    Takum is a better opponent than Vanes and Joshua fought him on 1 weeks notice.

    To be fair, third consecutive opponent going the distance from which two are current top 5 middles while Martirosyan has a MUCH better chin than either Canelo (remember Jose Cotto? :deal: ...V-Mart has been down but never shook up by such a small, light-hitting shot old guy) or Jacobs (remember Pirog? :deal: ...V-Mart has never been kept down or put to sleep)

    That's funny because the actual GGG nut huggers (and the white supremacist faction) will swear up and down that "IB criticizes GGG way too harshly and is a hater". :deal:

    Anytime boxers have vociferous camps in the extreme (for and against) my neutral ass ends up getting flamed from both sides.

    I fought this same war on 2 fronts during the Mayweather era.
