This was originally scheduled to be a 6-rounder but has been demoted to fit the broadcasting time constraints.

Padilla drew with Arias in a 4-rounder last August, when the former was 3-0 (3) and the latter 1-1.

Padilla is circling to his left, keeping his guard up rigid & tight against his face. Arias outworking him already with a fast, stiff left jab. Arias pecking away on the forearms with the power-jab, and then diving in with rights on the body. Padilla is dropping in with his own right on the belt line and getting chased off with uppercuts. Padilla is sloppy with his right hands falling in, splashing them off the belt line but sometimes just skimming the downward-facing palm side of Arias' gloves. Arias plugging the body with both hands. Padilla is feinting a jab and going downstairs with a straight poking right-left-right combo. Padilla takes a couple more body shots and lands a combo up top when Arias leans outside with his feet staying planted & spread wide.
